Food very good. Sky sports in room free internet. Comfortable room. Location away from other facilities such as bars, restaurants and shops. I WAS LACATED IN A COACH ROOM AWAY FROM THE MAIN HOTEL, YOU HAD TO CROSS A DRIVEWAY TO GET TO THE HOTEL FACILITIES. NOT A PROBLEM IF IT IS NOT RAINING.

Hotel was lovely...rooms and bathroom lovely..great comfort...how ever staff wernt great one in perticular..a manager at the front desk when checking out...he was appalling..incompetent...man...he held me for an hour over an issue paying were there was no issue to be had..extremely awkward person to deal with and kept me over an hour late to where I needed to be...so to be honest that man and that man alone..let the whole performance and overall stay at the hotel..so on that alone I would never stay or recommend it to anyone in the future

The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and was very relaxing. The food was excellent too. A very enjoyable stay and would go back again. The only fault I had was that the bed was too hard!!!!

we stayed in one of the coach rooms which were very nice - reasonable size and very clean. The hotel itself has a 'quaint' feeling about it and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast - I expect to get a pot with my tea in the mornings not to have to go to a dispensor every time I want a refill!! closer attention should have been paid to refilling the breakfast ban marie's - Some items were only topped up on request and quite a wait!

Location otherwise not too impressed, granted I arrived at midnight, I could not get a night porter so I had to ring the hotel for teh porter to come. Also the next morning was the same, no one at reception so I had to ring the hotel again !

We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were friendly and helpful..the bar area was comfortable and well laid out..The rooms vere spacious and well furnished, although an easy chair would have been nice..Dining and bar snacks/meals were nicely presented and cooked well.. Sunday and Bank Holiday breakfast was self service! There was not therefore a choice of eggs and kept hot food is never acceptable..One does not go away to get ones own food!.Mind you these days, it seems you have to make yuor own toast etc..

Excellent evening meal & breakfast. Rooms are immaculate. Staff are very friendly The rooms can be noisy with air vents straight through the walls to the outside. The air con is centrally controlled meaning you have to ask for specific times you want it switched on. In need of painting, walls are very grubby

I really enjoyed the ease, friendliness and light-hearted efficiency of every member of the hotel's staff. I was made feel that nothing was a problem. Any request was accepted with open arms and without demur. Thank you all. First and foremost, the hotel was hard to find - especially at night- time. And even when I arrived (guided in by phone) I saw nothing to convince me I was really in the right place until I saw a sign partly covered by a bush. The road outside is a busy road with a fair speed that makes it hard to slow down so you need really clear signage that sticks out (a bit like the Storm cinema next door). The other thing that frustrated me was the "subdued lighting" in the room. I found it almost impossible to read. There was no way to illuminate the room properly. Weak light emanated reluctantly from the ceiling and a few table-top lamps - perfect for a honeymoon or romantic setting. However I was there on my own and found it very hard to read comfortable anywhere other than the brighly illuminated toilet. It would be nice to give the visitor a bit more choice in the lighting arrangements.
