Grand Canal Hotel  

The Room Dining Service Staff was very kind and mannerly, also the cleaning personell. The Hotel itself was just a 15min walk from City Centre and the room was very silent and well heated.

Every medal has got 2 sites. We had a room with view on the inner courtyard and it was quite disgusting. Mountains of rubbish, waste containers and lots of empty beer barrels. In between that the brake place for the Staff, poor guys! But as the rest was okay so far we would surely come back.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Parking and Internet are free.

It was located in an ideal place, easy access to the city and other bussiness in our case, very comfortable, good food ,great value for money ,pleasent helpful staff . we had a special request and the staff were most helpful at reception with their responce, good parking facilities We will be going back to stay there again when we have occasion to visit dublin ,

Got a great deal for a lovely room, staff were extremely pleasant. Would definitely recommend the hotel or stay when next in Dublin.

The hotel is near the city centre .The dart line and bus stops. The staff are always very helpful . The rooms very comfortable and clean.We always try to stay there when we visit family The Gasworks is handy if you want a quick snack or dinner and quite reasonable.We always enjoy our stay.

I book this hotel for the gym facilities and the overall comfort, WIFI and parking. The service provide at reception is excellent. the overall cleanliness of bedroom is excellent too and friendly generally.

The restaurant is the only thing I would improve. In my opinion the Service is very slow even if there are only few tables. The waiters see you but do not bother to great you. I had waited 30 minutes in the past at the table and I end up always going to the waiter or to the bar and ask to be serve. Delivery food from order between 30 to 40 minutes each course. I have stay about 8 times since the first quarter 2011 and I must say the dinner I was looking for before. Really tasty food, high quality and good value too. However, food has decrease in quality significantly.I wonder if the hotel has change the chef?... Not longer dinner at the hotel. I keep trying once or twice each time to see if has improve but something has change and not longer the high satisfaction experience I had around March - April 2011

Good city centre location, ideal for Grand Canal Theatre event. Reception staff very helpful & friendly. Breakfast reasonably good, dining staff good.

Very basic facilities, bedrooms, bar 7dining could do with a facelift..badly! Bar staff on night of our stay were disinterested in their customers, so we did not have even a second drink there.

Convenient to Grand Canal Theater. Pleasant atmosphere. Good food.

Could not fault this hotel, great location for the theatre. Hotel even have a shuttle bus to bring you to the door. The gasworks bar really comes to life at night.

As we were attending a show in the Grand Canal Thetre the location was excellent...shuttle bus was very useful as it was a very wet night. Breakfast was very good & the convenience of free parking was a bonus
