the house is lovely and our twin room was spacious and comfortable Breada offers all you could want for breakfast and the eating area is very nice Highlight was the 2 town donkeys who were vacationing in the back yard Ballyvaghan is a lvley spot to stay after visiting the Cliffs of Moher
Room good, parking good, breakfast good - plenty of fruit. Breada helped with the cases, emailed a welcome and confirmed ground floor room that was requested. Breada recommend a local pub which she had negotiated a 10% discount on food, the pub was good.
We could not find anything that was negative about this very well run B & B.
Meadowfield is very convenient to the Burren and to all of the wonderful attractions in that part of County Clare. It is great value for money and while the facilities are simple, the hosts are helpful and the house is very clean. Hairdryer is supplied if needed. Breakfast is fine. Water pressure in the bathroom is excellent. We enjoyed our stay in this location.
Cash only payment accepted.
Breda was an excellent hostess
Breada was most welcoming and extremely knowledgable. The arrival coffee and tea was great, with all guests sitting together exchanging stories. She pointed us in the right direction for the following day and the Burren we can recommend as a great place to stay.
Walls were quite thin.
Walking distance to restaurants. A B & B that provided everything we wanted. Hostess very helpful.
Hospitality and friendliness was wonderful. Breakfast excellent.
Bedroom a bit too small. Narrow stairway making it hard to carry suitcase upstairs.
Perfect for a short stay.
Short section of road with no footpath . Not a busy road , but that section could easily be improved .
Lack of toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities in bedroom.
Rooms a bit dated. Ground floor rooms lack privacy from people walking in garden.
Room very small / bed old No tea making facilities or toiletries
We enjoyed our stay with Breada and visiting with her mom, who happened to be there. Good breakfast, useful information of things to do in the area, especially a good location if you want to explore The Burren.
Can't think of anything.
the home like setting
the bed was too soft, and I did not get good rest.
Breda was a perfect host: helpfull, warm and accommodating. The breakfast was great. Just a short walk to the town with very good pubs and restaurants.
Lovely owner Breda couldn"t have been more helpful. The cooked breakfast was v tasty served with nice filter coffee. Breda made us tea when we carme home late after a very long trek in the Burren . She was most helpful re walks in the area. I would highly recommend this lovely homely B an B and we will stay here again when we I return to Clare .
We"d like more mirrors in the triple bedroom as we"re three vain ladies ! Its not a criticism just a small wish !
We had an amazing time! Breada was so friendly and helpful and gave us great advice about hikes in the area.
Great welcome and a much needed cup of tea.
Very plain just adequate but walking distance to town. Italian restaurant in town excellent.
excellent location for our purpose, owner was very friendly and more than accommodating, having bikes with us can be a problem in some places but meadowfield were more than willing to let us bring them inside, breakfast was great and the staff were fantastic we'll be back
We were doing the tour de burren cycle, big healthy breakfast and a few rooms made available after the cycle for a shower before heading home which was much appreciated. Also tea etc offered after cycle. Very friendly woman running it.
Owner was personable and friendly; location was close to town and yet quiet; breakfast was good and also efficiently fast; very homey atmosphere
Very friendly host
The owner is so welcoming and helpful. the house is very comfortable, very clean and close enough to the village to walk.
This was a great place and the owner was wonderful. She made tea for us when we arrived. She had extensive knowledge of the area and could make good suggestions. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again if I got back to this region.
Friendliness and breakfast
No tea making facilities in room
