The staff at the Menlo Park were extremely professional, welcoming and helpful. The room was large and well equipped. I would certainly stay here again. Nothing major at all, the only thing would be the distance from the city, a 20minute walk. We didn't mind at all but it is something to be aware of if booking for a city break.

Friendly staff , Free Spacious Carpark, Nice location, Easy access to other areas and to the city. Bar food was nice with good choice and breakfast was particularly good Hotel was fine and was good value for money but not a 4 star as stated. Taps in basin in the en-suite were single taps but both had very hot water. Corridor upstairs is very narrow and made me wonder about fire safety regulations. In need of some modernisation.

The room was very comfortable. The bowl of fruit was very welcome. The staff were lovely and eager to please. Some stains in bathroom, but it was the Tuesday after long weekend and Manager was keen to know and remedy the situation. And the bathrobes were too too small, about a size 8.

Food was great Dissapointing had to ask for robes and slippers. Bathroom was a bit grubby and could be updated. Also there was no complimentary water in the room. We felt the decor downstairs didnt reflect upstairs in the bedrooms for a 4 star hotel.

The room was spacious and very elegantly designed, the staff were very efficent from the moment we arrived at reception and were extremely helpful and courtious with any questions we asked. The location was perfect for us as we were near the city but yet near all major roads for our sightseeing tours. The food was fabulous and really well presented, with comfortable and welcoming surroundings inthe dining room, and most importantly the waitress Christina, was extremely polite and helpful with a very warm and welcoming smile which made us feel very homely indeed. We will recommend this hotel to many of our friends and family, and look forward to staying here again in the near future. I thought the daily Paper in reception was a lovely touch, especially for over breakfast.

Price, room size, late check out Radiator not working properly. At max temperature, radiator was cold at bottom and luke-warm at top. Room was freezing. Adequate heat is a basic requirement in any hotel. Did not like that hotel passes itself off as a 4 star, with proper heating it may be a good 3 star.

Service was outstanding. The food was absolutely excellent. They catered for the gluten intolerant diet. Gluten free sauces etc. Found staff very very friendly, helpful and very professional. Our room was freezing upon arrival. We felt cold in the bar also.

Good value for money. Very helpful and friendly staff. I liked the use of Gaeilge in the hotel. Decor is not very modern. Don't like that there are rooms for smokers as it gave the corridor a musty smell however it was not over powering. Food was average.

Although she was extremely busy she made us feel very welcome and even called a taxi for use immediately when we requested. Nice sharp quick service exactly the way it should be in a quality hotel. Thanks again Enda

Very satisfied with everything except the food. Have stayed there before and the food was disappointing both times. Also thought that the temperature in public areas was too high - the bar and hallways.
