Lovely and welcoming, beautifully furnished. Excellent value for money

Clean and comfortable with nice breakfast. Bar area was good too

The staff are fabulous. I would compare them to a $500.00+ a night, 5 star hotel

Very good value, staff very friendly and helpful. Everything was just fine. Breakfast was very good, part buffet but freshly made full Irish Breakfast with fresh coffee, nice breads etc., Location very good in the town but also for visiting beaches, the Burren and some really good restaurants such as Linnane's Lobster Bar Restaurant at nearby New Quay. Good car parking.

It could do with a bit of refurbishing or updating, wi-fi only really successful in the lobby and not much choice in TV stations available, but for us these were not serious disadvantages.

Extremely friendly staff. The decor in the public areas is really nice. Breakfast is excellent served by very cheerful ladies. Very comfy bed. All in all a great stay. Will be back

Design of bathroom. Soap/ toilet roll holders in very ackward places but can live with that !!

Basic clean comfortable hotel. Superb location for visiting surrounding tourist areas. Excellent food, courteous helpful staff.

Shower head in the room would need to be cleaned.

I founf the welcome amazing,Before I had checked in I got a realy genuine greeting from three different people. The room was very comfortable and clean and the bar food was very good.

L'hôtel Merriman est bien situé. Il est proche de plusieurs sites touristiques (château de dungaire, le Burren, falaises de Moher, ville de Galway ...) : idéal si l'on a une voiture de location. La chambre était confortable, le personnel accueillant et de bon conseil. Il y a un pub/restaurant où l'on joue de la musique traditionnelle certains soirs de la semaine. La réception propose également une bonne documentation touristique. Le petit déjeuner traditionnel est copieux.

The staff were excellent. Even thought two bus-loads of tourists had arrived for lunch into the bar/restaurant at the same time, the few staff that were on duty kept their heads and managed things well, and all the while staying professional and friendly to all the customers. Kinvara is a nice little town on the edge of the Burren, and is a good place to base yourself while exploring the area. The many bars in the town will keep you well-hydrated!

The hotel does need a bit of investment, although it's not shabby by any means. The room fittings are old, the TVs are litle 14" portables, there are no room safes, and the room keys are exactly that - no security swipes here. For the room rate they are charging at this time of year, I think you should get better facilities. But the staff go a long way to making up for this.

Väldigt trevlig pub i det vackra huset, god mat och väldigt trevlig personal. Mysigt med alla små pubarna i närheten, bra musik!

Det var inte jättebra bussförbindelser och busstiderna stämde inte.

Located in the center of Kinvara. Easy walk to harbor and to castle. Comfortable, quiet room. Off street parking.

Bedding is a very heavy quilt. Far too hot for the time of year (Spring). The problem emerged too late at night to deal with.

Rooms could use an update.

Reception staff excellent.Nice modern interior with clean and spacious room.

One of the towels supplied was dirty and bar staff were pretty slow at times-though very polite.No sign of fresh fruit at breakfast.

It felt personal, original and Irish - which is what we wanted.

The hotel is up for auction and obviously in need of some renovation - but this didn't spoil our visit.
