The staff is very helpful and the cleanliness of the room was very good! I stayed in a room with a door between my room and the next one and I could heared my neighbours talking in the middle of the night, it was very annoying. There is no safe and fridge.

We had an excellent stay, the hotel was situated in a quiet area within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was basic but comfy and clean. We had breakfast which was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. We would definately stay again

Very friendly staff, for the price i was surprised how good the hotel was. A fridge would have been nice in the room, carpark was full so no room for our car, but street parking was free for weekend

easy to get to, clean and friendly parking a bit awkward, first come first served is a bit low considering the price of parking on the street

The meals in the terrace Bar were well priced and enjoyable and the staff here were excellent. While the hotel looks a little bit dated the family room was comfortable and spacious. The location suited us as we had business on that side of the city.I could see us using this hotel again and would recommend it for its value.Ps The Bangers and Mash with carmelised Onions was beautiful. No complaints ,happy enough allround.

Good location..near town Breakfast spread excellent..and kitchen staff lovely Hotel needs a good facelift..color schemes outdated..ironing room on 2nd floor should be removed..feels like ur in a really cheap hotel and the mouse trap in the corner really didnt add anything!!! Overall was very disappointed, going by website I really thought it would be alot plusher..Reception area horrible..no way inviting or a comfortable area to relax..needs serious updating...You should really think about first impressions!!

The staff was very accomodating. It was in a good location. It was nice having a cab stand inf ront of the hotel. It was nice to have restaurants on location. The kettle in the room was convenient. The restaurant prices in the hotel were very expensive. There is no thermostat in the rooms, so you cannot regulate the heat. Beware of the elevated tubs. In one of the descriiptions of the hotel I read before I left, it was stated that there was a shuttle service, a tour desk and currency exchange. There is no shuttle service, no tour desk and currency exchange is liimited.

I liked the friendly, relaxed environment. The staff at the front desk were very competent and one, Marie, was especially helpful. I think it was fairly priced and within walking distance of Grafton Street, O'Connell Street, and the other sites one wishes to take in while in Dublin.

Suitable location to get the city center, small canal nearby, very full ireland breakfast with poridge, spacious room, good hot water supply, good heater, good bed, tea-pot, fan, ironing facilities. 1. You should spash toilet once only and then wait 15-20 minute to do it once vore. Toilet tank fills itself slowly. 2. It is a business hotel and staff is very experienced and helpful but not quite friendly. 3. There is no traditional wardrobe in the room - only bar with handls.

It was a good price for the price I paid. Also comparing it with other hotels in the area it was probably the best choice for a lower budget. I arrived few hours earlier at the hotel and there was no problem checking in.

myself and my two sisters stayed at the mespil hotel a short time ago,and we really enjoyed our visit there. the staff were very friendly and helpful, the family room we stayed in was very big and comfortable. the bar food was lovely and plenty to choose from, and the service was very good. the breakfast the next morning was fantastic every need was catered for from the continental to the full irish breakfast. we attended a show in the city so the hotel was very centeral to everything and for shopping as well. we would definately stay at the mespil hotel again whenever we are in dublin. the only thing we found was the lift on the second floor left us with a long walk to our room.

I like the room, its spacious and the bed is comfortable. The food is lovely in the restaurant, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is very good, i could have enjoyed it more if we were not rushing. In general, its worth the stay and the value is not too bad. I would recommend it and I definitely stay there again in the future.

The staff were friendly and informative. Eventhough there seemed to be a lot staying at the Mespil the hotel itself, especially at night, was extremely quiet. Very comfortable beds and a lovely view over the canal. We had a triple room but only cups/glasses for two and the long life milk supplied had gone off !
