Staff were lovely and very attentive. Carvery lunch was excellent - good food and very reasonably priced. Room was spacious clean, and comfortable. That was our second time staying in the Milford Inn. Would definately stay again and would recommend it. Went to restaurant for dinner. We both had ribeye steak. My steak was half the size of my husbands. Was very disappointed getting served frozen chips and no veg. Pepper sauce was very wattery. Restaurant standard needs to improve, need to serve fresh food and veg if they expect people to pay restaurant prices. The ribeye steak was delicious allthough I could have eaten the same size as my husbands.

The staff and the hotel were friendly and the hotel was very nice. Breakfast was delicious. Room was a good size and clean. My room was out of shampoo, conditioner and soap and the hotel was out of replacements, consequently I had to go shopping before having a bath.

Very easy to check in, Just to sign one document. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly. We had dinner in the lounge bar which was excellent and good value for money. Only a very small point but there was no remote control for the tv in the room.

The hotel was perfectly positioned for visiting the town of Milford (which we were) and was perfectly adequate and clean. A hot vegetarian breakfast would have been nice

The friendlieness of the staff on arrival, the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the shower was just the right temp,(loved the luxury of the heated towel rail),we had been car racing on knockalla and the shower was badly needed as we had been very wet,we were dissapointed we could,nt get a cancellation for any other night, with this in mind we have already booked for three nights next year.

Liked everything about this hotel, gr8 value for money, but most of all it was the staff, all of them were vrey warm + friendly , especialy james on reception most pleasant yong man he is a massive asset to this hotel nothing was to much trouble to him, + he always gave service with a smile. Only down side was lack of facilities for children, perhaps a pool table or game machine.

“I stayed in the Station House previously & I found it to be an excellent hotel. I have stayed in 4 star hotels and not received the service, cleanliness, or hospitality that I found in the Station House. This stay was no different.
