The Carlton Millrace Hotel has friendly staff, luxurious rooms and excellent facilities including a leisure club, spa and ‘rooftop' restaurant. The hotel is located on the edge of the Hall-Dare estate, which has magnificent parkland and walks along the River Slaney. It is also home to the Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club. Bunclody is located on the N80 between Carlow and Enniscorthy. Lady Lucy's Rooftop Restaurant has panoramic views of Mount Leinster and Bunclody. The friendliness of the staff. The proximaty to the town centre and the lovely views of Mount Leinster and Bunclody. It was a comfortable stay with a beautiful big bed and a thoroughly good breakfast.

I celebrated my birthday at the hotel. The room was beautiful but we did not figure out the heating till we woke up in 33 degrees. The breakfast was tasty and very filling and the staff were very helpful and courteous. I got a lovely birthday card and I had a great time. I will recommend your hotel to friends and I hope to return for our wedding anniversary on September 28 and stay for longer while we travel around.

Cooked breakfast very poor. Egg Benedict a bit of a joke, seemed to be using burger buns in the process . Staff totally disinterested in service or cleaning tables etc.

Not a 4 star hotel. Only a 3 star - if even that. The hotel was dirty, bed was like a hospital bed, room was like that of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Expectations were not met. Would not recommend this hotel, if you want a 4 star hotel. Tv in room was very old. Room was the same standard of a travelodge.

Friendly helpful and efficient staff in every part of the hotel. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Great location in town. Plenty of free car parking at hotel. Bunclody is a lovely town only about 50 minutes by car from Rosslare ferry and a delightful place to spend a day if touring Ireland. Tlc Cafe very near to hotel serves great helpings of Irish food with a warm welcome and is next door to O'Reillys supermarket where you can stock up on most things for your journey.

The food was very good apert from the breakfast which was very poor. The website advertised separate checkin for kids with passport and swim bag but there was no sign of this. The jacuzzi was not working which was unexceptable for new year.

. The room was clean and comfortable . I requesed quiet room but the noise on Wednesday night from outside of the hotel ( room 107 ) did not allowed me to sleep for a long time .Expensive for a single room

Superb Staff, great location for exploring the midlands and south east of Ireland. Lady Lucy restaurant was beyond our expectations, the 28 day matured Irish steak was out of this world. A huge, gorgeous Irish breakfast set us up each day. Bunclody is a small town/village with a couple of lovely pubs. Be prepared to talk when you go in to them, great experience.

I thought the staff was very friendly,and the other people that was there was very nice also.The smoking area is well designed.The leisure centre was great just what you need after a night on the drink.I would personalty recommend it to any one. Cant wait to go back again.
