Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs safely and easily for a 1.5 mile walk each direction right from town. Town looks a bit in disrepair at times. Our accommodation was great with wonderful service including the restaurant below it. Parking was easy.

The beach is gorgeous, as are the cliff walks and views. Restaurants were fine. Unfortunately we couldn't find any postcards, couldn't rent any bicycles (nearest bike hire was miles away), and the 'tourist office ' was not only shut down but in a very sad state of disrepair. Also, no one seemed to know where Charlotte Bronte honeymooned!! We found it easily though (there's a plaque).

    Just a few words.

Just a few words. It is a magic place, You can only appreciate this going there and see for yourself. Ahh, by the way, there is a fish and chips there in the heart of the town, try no to avoid that place , it has the best fresh fish and chips Nolans is the name, also you may feel like to taste a fresh-made kebab , exactly there on the main street you can find a very nice Kebaberia.

Lovely bed & breakfast in a quiet location in the countryside on top of a hill as the name implies. Very friendly host who made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell that the owners take pride in the house. We had two rooms and one of them had a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and ocean. Rooms were small but very nice. Good shower. Best Irish breakfast we have had on our Ireland trip so far! Cereal and other options were available as well. Tea and instant coffee available all day. Highly recommended!

View was just fabulous. It was wintertime and mostly dark when I was here but the bit I did see in sunlight has made me rebook a visit for next year. Food in the hotel was gorgeous both days - dinner and breakfast. Staff were so lovely and welcoming which made the stay for me. Hotel very easy to find, bed divine and room huge.

Moineir House is a really lovely B & B that we wish we had more than the one night at. While the room was a tad small, the bed is probably one of the most comfortable we have slept in during our entire trip in Ireland. Breakfast was also superb so all in all a very good place to stay.

Lovely quirky accommodation in an excellent location just a few metres from the harbour. Great welcome and advice on places to visit and eat from hosts Lucy and James. A great location to visit Loop Head and all the other local attractions in a most beautiful part of Clare.

I was so happily surprised, I stayed in three four star hotels in our trip home for Christmas and across Ireland this was actually my favourite place to stay. The place was clean, modern, large rooms and the bed was so comfortable too.
