Busy Road, so some traffic noise
Excellent rooms with very good and comfortable beds.Very nice area.Fantastik breakfast. Friendly staff.Very good connection to city center with bus 46A.Would choose it again.
The few days we could stay there!!!
Good location, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable, great breakfast.
the shower was more of a dribble and was either to hot or to cold
- dedicated staff (special thanks to Ms. Simona, who took time to give us some insights on Dublin, who gave us a free morning smile...yes! Smiles are supposed to be free, although not many people give them:)) - nice breakfast - good location, no more than 20 min walk from temple bar (nice and healthy walk, anyway) - silent neighbourhood - although the hotel is not new, it is very clean (sheets and towels are impecable white)
not the case
Clean comfortable room, and a great breakfast. Located in a nice area, plenty of buses passing the front door connecting to the city centre. Would stay here again.
We needed a place in this area and Morehampton Townhouse was a great stay for us. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. The service could not be beat! The breakfast offerings were a good variety and delicious. There are groceries, a great bakery that serves lunch, the pub where we had our first Irish stew, banks, doctor's offices, bus stops and at least two restaurants within two blocks of the townhouse. One bank cashed traveler's cheques. the weather for our October stay was cool and made climbing the stairs to our third floor room ok. The main tourist season was over but most sites and tours were still available. Thank you Morehampton Townhouse staff!
There are no telephones in the rooms.
the comfort of the beds the servise the breakfast the recptionest was great
no recption resident's lounge
Breakfast was lovely.
Nobody at reception when we arrived. Had to ring doorbell and it connected to a phone number. We had to wait in Reception until a staff member arrived. There was nobody at reception on departure either, we just left key on reception desk. It did not feel very welcoming.
The room was spacious and kept clean, staff very helpful and friendly, excellent breakfast with a wide selection of options (and a really good Irish breakfast). It was early September so it was a bit cold but the heating was on which made the stay even more pleasant. We stayed in two other B&Bs during our trip to Ireland but we liked Morehampton the best!
Staff friendly and helpfull. bus stop for centre and airport over road. good size room.
no restaurants in area.
Staff was very helpful, helping fix one problem, directing us to buses and restaurants, making theatre reservations.
Things that didn't work: fan in bathroom, light near entry, light on end table, sliding shower door. Also, a very cramped room.
Staff, location, breakfast.
Very convenient to bus and can even walk to city if weather good
Walls thin so heard others into the night. Quality of mattress poor for the price that I paid. Found it to be too expensive for the quality of the room.
Breakfasts were awesome. People were really nice.
Internet was a bit slow and sometimes it was not working.
The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were helpful and very nice. The breakfasts were very nice.
It was much further from center city than I thought their website implied, at least a half hour's walk. There are some good bus lines, but it is a dark neighborhood at night and hard to tell where to get off. The big Georgian window was beautiful, but it had to be open for air flow and that let in the traffic noise which was considerable. It was ensuite, but it was done rather oddly. The hotel was a little more rundown than I expected.
Excellent staff.Good breakfast
Car parking not very convenient
Very helpful staff. Very high standard of comfort and cleanliness in the bedroom. Good breakfast served.
Very few carparking spaces (only 4).
Reception. Room noisy out front with sirens and traffic all night No double glazing/blackout windows/ curtains. Walls paper thin. Heard adjacent mobile alarm and ensuing banter for 2 hrs before knocking on "partition". Poor reception and check out as apparently one person multi tasks. Not a good address despite interesting location and overpriced for a sleepless night. Got the feeling that guests were a nuisance rather than a welcome asset! Tant pis pour eux!
Excellent staff, very helpful ....good breakfast.....good location.... great value....will stay here again.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked to change our room to the back after the first night as we could not sleep due to traffic noise, The full Irish Breakfast was very good. About a 45 minute walk to City Centre.
The hotel is very old and tired looking. There is no elevator so had to lug suitcases up three flights of stairs. Front rooms are very noisy.
Everything was satisfactory
Friendly staff and a good cooked to order breakfast
The water in the shower took a very long time to get warm.
Proximity to the American embassy for early interview. Near supermarkets, restaurants. Nice place to walk around -Herbert Park..
A bit of a trek trying to find the place. Badly signposted. Basic accomadation but nice. A little expensive for a single room
The room I was staying in was No 1,which is under the reception area. The floor area is poorly stress ,so when somebody walks across it at 0315 in the morning you can hear them.
