The breakfast included in the price and quite good. The room maybe a little snug but comfortable beds Llas. Location 30 minutes at foot from downtown but direct connection with three lines Bus
I opted for one of the smaller single rooms; it was just perfect! Cosy, and with all that I needed. Great spot, close to fantastic facilities and within walking distance of beautiful park, shops and restaurants.
Helpful staff Breakfast
No ground floor rooms and lots of stairs between the room and breakfast room/entrance
Super WiFi Excellent breakfast Friendly and helpful staff Very cosy and warm bedroom
Location was good with some nice restaurants and bars in the vicinity
Decor was dated, bed uncomfortable, room was unclean and the premises felt generally unsafe with flimsy door lock. I have read other reviews about this hotel (many of which are positive) and think that they must be referring to another place. The price was good though I would prefer to pay extra in one of the other local hotels for a more pleasant experience
Great location close to aircoach bus stop, as I was there for Dublin Marathon 25 min walk to start line very close to City Centre. Staff very nice & friendly Would stay there again.
I thought there was as much in my room if not more than some of these other big hotels than this was just a guest house
The car park was very bad my car caught on the slop as I was going in and when I went out at 9.00pm I asked the girl would be still opened when I got back at 12.00she said yes of course but when I got back at before 12 the gates where closed and there wasn't any body on the desk so I had to leave my car along the street which I was very nervise about so I worryed the hole about the car and didn't get much sleep and I got up at 7am and went down to see if car was still there it was but I had enough at that stage so we just left without any breakfast and still there was nobody on the desk to leave keys with so I just left them on the desk
Good-sized room, lovely staff, comfortable bed, easy to get to
The dial on the heating was broken, which meant we couldn't turn off the heating. The following day, it was "fixed": the heating was turned off, but the dial was still broken, so now we could not turn it on.
It is perfect accommodation in Dublin. Very clean room and also there is a really good heating systém. Breakfast was delicious.
Good location easy walk into city centre.
Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was too hot. Impossible to control heating as radiators taps were missing. Window was next to impossible to open. Bed quilt was certainly not feather and down quality and I found that I perspired profusely. All of the above contributed to a restless night and poor sleep.
Nice location in the centre of Donnybrook
Parking facilities weren't great
Friendly staff and very helpful
The staff were great, so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic! Loved everything
Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good
Rooms were very basic. Walls need replastering. Ceiling tiles were grubby and very unattractive
staff were very pleasant. breakfast reasonably good.
accommodation in need of a facelift - bedroom small and bathroom small and smelly.
Position, good neighborhood, 25 min walk to the city centre or 10 min by bus. Good wi-fi. Bus stop very close to the structure (even for bus from/to airport). Good breakfast. Spacious room.
Double bed a little small, but comfortable.
Good location, excellent helpful staff, great breakfast.
No negatives ...
staff, breakfast, location, comfortable room and great value for money.will surely stay again
I liked getting into clean sheets, and being served breakfast, and the vegetarian sausages, and tea making facilities in the room.
Not the fault of the hotel my sister snores which kept me awake!
very far from the RDS despite stating the opposite. VERY small room and cold. VERY VERY rude and unhelpful manager whom did nothing to help and everything she could to be nasty. this was a complete waste of money. my friends stayed at the Sandymount- cheaper, free gym and use of a phone charger if needed which this manager refused me saying she had none. I found out on the second day they kept a whole bag full of chargers in the cupboard when a helpful member of staff gave me one to charge my phone. I have honestly never encountered such a rude and unhelpful lady serving a member of the public. location wise for the money asked you could easily get somewhere nearer to Dublin centre for the same price as I later found out. not great If your looking to enjoy night life as the buses stop running early and its expensive to get back here by taxi.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff
It was clean and the shower was nice
There was no bath and limited parking.
The room we had on the top floor felt like a bedsit, the box stuck into the corner being our ensuite. I noticed some other rooms on the way out and they looked nice, spacious. But beware the top floor!
Good location friendly staff. Great breakfast options. Would stay again
