Hotel looks great and is very clean and stylish. Location is brilliant.
Cookies on arrival great idea but as I require gluten free were no use to me. Our room had recently been painted and the smell of paint was really strong. Also the room was way too hot and you couldn't open the window as our room was above the foyer area. Therefore we didn't sleep well at all.
Breakfast til 12
Service when having breakfast was quite poor. I had to ask for tea and toast, which I think she be offered as soon as we arrive. The toast didn't come and had to ask again. Had to ask for soda bread as the bread shelf had not been properly filled. Room view was awful
Early check in Offered a free upgrade to a Junior Suite for our 20th wedding anniversary.
Old sash windows did not keep out the traffic noise or the howl of the wind.
I was treated like I was in the staff's own home they are all very friendly easy to talk too and they will do their utmost to ensure you get what you want on your stay and they will have the craic. I have already booked my next trip
Helpful and friendly staff. Nice touch to have the chocolate cookies at check in and cold water checking out. Room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Good location.. Close to everything
Took shower head from the cradle and couldn't put it back. Our room was cleaned but next morn the shower still not sorted. Made me wonder if the bathroom had actually been cleaned. We were at a wedding party yet to get from the hotel bar to the Gallery we were instructed to go out on the street and in another door.. While holding our drinks. Should have been an internal walkway
having to put our room key in a slot to have power
Very modern look to the hotel Friendly staff
Parking isn't the best even though they do have a deal with a car park near by but as we were leaving at 6am we couldnt park our car there as it didnt open till 7am
Room was pretty small
The hotel was clean and very modern. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were given a warm cookie on arrival and offered a tea/coffee/water to take out with us which i thought was a nice touch. We were too early to check in so the hotel accomodated us by keeping our bags. The location was perfect, walking distance to temple bar to the pubs and the shopping area located just behind temple bar. The breakfast was well worth paying for; huge selection and very friendly staff. It was comfortable and there was no rush.
We paid for an upgraded room which didn't seem any different to the standard rooms. The pillows werent comfy as they were too high. We arrived at the hotel at 11am and were told we could check in by 2pm which we expected. We left our bags with the reception staff and headed out. We returned at 3pm to be told our room still wasn't ready and we waited over half an hour in reception before going to our room. This just shows the difference between a 4 and a 5 star hotel.
This is a perfect location, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, an excellent stay.
The staff was excellent! And so was the hotel and the location.
When we left our windows open at night there was a bit of traffic noise in the morning.
location, decor, staff, food (only had breakfast and dinner - try their burgers!) THE COOKIE which you get on checkin
We've been to Dublin three times and found the Morrison to be a great hotel in the heart of Dublin. A great location even though it's North of the river , don't let that put you off. Go for it,
I had a room on the 3rd floor that had a private balcony. It was on the south side of the building, opposite the river Liffey, so there wasn't much to view but it was a nice amenity.
The location couldn't have been better for sightseeing. Room was super clean ,staff friendly and very helpful and breakfast provided excellent choices.
We got upgraded to a junior suite.Room was fab, very spacious and lovely interior.Very quite too. Staff were very accomodating and friendly.
Cannot fault our stay.
The room was very nice and comfortable and the lobby and bar are lovely.
Some members of staff at reception and in breakfast room could have been friendlier. For the price, breakfast should be included. View from the bedroom a bit grim.
Very close to Temple bar and all bars, but still quiet area. Modern and very trendy. Friendly stuff, clean and spacious room.
everything was great :)
There was nothing not to like. Everything was perfect. We had a family of 5 and there were some challenges to make adjoining rooms so they upgraded us to a penthouse suite with adjoining rooms. Staff was overly nice, accommodating, and helpful for rooms, taxis, local attractions, and activities. We unfortunately had to change hotels due to a pre-purchased package and we were sad to leave. We will only stay at the Morrison in the future travels to Dublin. Thanks for everything.
Loved everything. Perfect.
Closeness to tourist spots and destinations. Very comfy beds. Really lovely & helpful staff. Delicious breakfast choices. Great restaurant choices & prices.
Rain shower too close to the wall so you have to stand right next to the wall to use it. Need super-strength to push the toilet button on the side wall.
Friendly and Helpful Staff Management very visible in carrying out their duties. Safety and Security of the hotel. Made feel welcome at all times. Very relaxing room and bar/ restaurant.
Food ordered came out lukewarm twice. Once for lunch and also evening meal. Ingredients nice and presentation and service very good but lukewarm poultry/ shellfish not good. Not to the standards I expected from this hotel.
Great location close to Temple Bar area, walking distance of lots of facilities
Had a suite with a balcony but no table and chairs to utilise
what a fantastic hotel, the staff are 100% what make this hotel, from a warm tasty cookie on arrival to complimentary bottled water so polite also, this hotel deserves a 5 star!!! Rooms are amazing, get a river view its worth it the extra few quid.. bar and grill is top notch too!!! great location for shopping the girlfriend was thrilled, thank you to the Morrison Hotel for a great stay :)
Nothing everything was perfect!!
The hotel is an easy walk from Temple Bar. The best pub is Merchants Arch right across the river. Wonderful live music.
A top class Hotel, cant fault it, Breakfast excellent, room huge, air con spot on
