Next door to the famous Lansdowne Road Rugby Stadium, Mount Herbert is easily accessible from the city centre by DART suburban rail system. Hotel information

The Mount Herbert Hotel is located in the highly exclusive area of Dublin 4. In the past few years it has gone through major refurbishment on rooms and public areas in the hotel. The large Trtionville Bar provides a perfect place to sit relax and enjoy good food from the bar menu which is served all day.

The hotel has the rare benefit of having its own private garden area which is well sheltered and perfect for those barbecues in the long summer evenings.

With secure parking it is perfect for those who wish to leave the car behind and travel the short hop on the DART to the city centre to soak up what Dublin has to offer.

A genuine friendly and warm atmosphere permeates throughout the hotel.

Food & beverage

Full Irish breakfasts and continental breakfasts are served in the restaurant daily, vouchers for which can be purchased at reception.

The Tritonville Bar serves a full menu daily between 11:00 and 23:00.

All rooms are en suite. Irons and ironing boards are available on request. For a small supplement upgrades are available for that special occasion in our newly renovated superior rooms and suites. Please contact the hotel for further information.

Area information

The Mount Herbert Hotel is situated in the Dublin 4 area, nestled between Ballsbridge and Sandymount. It is a 25-minute stroll to the city centre or alternatively a 5-minute train ride from the Lansdowne DART station which is located just around the corner from the hotel.

Beside the famous Lansdowne Road Stadium and a short walk from the RDS is one of the major exhibition centres, which hosts many events, exhibitions and concerts.

Slightly off the beaten track but close to buses and the Dart to the city centre

The Business Centre and the express check-out.

I would have liked a sandwich in the evening but there was only an evening meal menu. Also I had asked for chips instead of veges but I was charged for the chips.

the location, just out of town but very near a railway station. Modern, clean, spacious.

I had to change rooms after the firt night because the noise of an air conditioning unit outside my room was like a truck running its engine all night. The second room was fine.
