Self-catering provisions could be improved. For a luxury experience there was no fresh milk provided, for example, just tiny long-life cartons for one cup each. Small tea cups (we prefer a mug). No Scissors, no mirror near the dressing table area in the bedroom, thermostats seemed to do nothing. Warm water took forever to come through. Balcony wasn't cleaned, or windows. No instructions to use fire, TVs or complicated bath/shower controls. A long way from 'town'.
Mount Juliet is wonderful if you are into golf, shooting, or horse-riding. The estate is beautiful and well maintained. The Lodge we stayed in was nicely decorated and very spacious. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful.
