Having to pay extra foruse of the spa facilities (pool etc)

Hotel was lovely . staff always polite and helpful . Breakfast was lovely. Rooms were spacious. Perfect size for a small family.

Just a few small things to say. We had booked a twin room but were given a double. We did not complain as it wasn't a major issue. On the round table there was glass that could slide around easily so was a bit dangerous especially for young children.Dinner menu could be improved.no bath mats.

Staff very friendly. Hotel in excellent condition and very comfortable.

A plaque at the front door containing the name of one of the architects of our economic travails. On holidays I want a respite and not a reminder of the country's economic ills!!

Most of the staff were very friendly, down to earth and very helpful.

Dining in Molly Darcy on Friday night I ordered the Classic Burger with french fries, my husband ordered the special, Loin of pork with mashed potatoes. My burger was burnt and inedible, I returned it and had it replaced with the Thai Prawns, which were very nice but by the time I received it my appetite had gone. My husband felt the pork was reheated and had severe indigestion during the night. The following night we tried to get into the main restaurant but were refused, the manager stated the restaurant was booked out and he did not want to overload the chef!!. The restaurant only had four diners in it, when we pointed this out and also explained about our disastrous meal in Molly Darcy's the previous night, he still refused to accommodate us even though we went back 3 times. We eventually ate in Molly Darcy's and when we came back through the main restaurant an hour later, it still looked empty. We challenged the manager again and he still maintained the restaurant was booked out. We really believed that as Muckross Park Hotel is a five star hotel we should have been accommodated and felt very let down.

The decor, comfort and quietness of hotel.

The breakfast was lovely but the evening meals were disappionting for a five star hotel.

The staff were really friendly , ( genuine friendly , not fake friendly like in some hotels ) ,they honestly couldn't have been more helpful, the room was immaculate, the jacuzzi bath was amazing, almost didn't want to leave the room at all over the weekend, the food in molly darcys bar was delicious and was reasonably priced.

Receptionist and porter friendly on arrival. Location near national park very good Food in bar was excellent Breakfast was very nice

We werent able to eat in restaurant. Only booking available was 9.30pm. Newspapers weren't an option available without having to ask. Very quiet but accept that it was early in the season. As a result lack of atmosphere.

Everyone was very helpful and nice and the amenities were very impressive. I wish we had stayed for longer!

There was some confusion at breakfast because we thought we were to seat ourselves when in fact there was a queue. I think the dining room and servers were unusually busy, which may have explained why the confusion arose.

It was lovely the spa was great the garden was nice The outdoor hottub was amazing Staff were very welcoming & helpful Overall was amazing

I enjoyed the relaxed surroundings and comfort offered. The xmas decor was admirable and the breakfast was one of the best. The peace and quiet of the bedrooms - no outside or corridor noise!!!

Was disappointed that Molly Darcy's pub did not have music provided in the bar as advertised.

Enjoyed our stay at muckross park hotel,spa was wonderful and staff very happy and attentive.scenary is amazing surrounding hotel.will definitley be returning.peaceful location yet in the midst of everything

The hospitality is second to none. The food is excellent. The staff are the best I have seen so far in any hotel have stayed both in Europe and America.

The only thing was the tv set! They need to change their tv to flat screen to merge the past with present.
