Muckross Park Hotel & Cloisters Spa  

It was lovey and calm and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Friendly and welcoming, and was a great location to drive around the Ring of Kerry. Molly's Pub which is part of the hotel was fantastic with great food and drinks. Large room.

Room was slightly noisy as it overlooked the air-conditioning/heating vents. If in different room, there would be no other faults.

Most of the Hotel staff is very friendly, the room was very spacious and confortable and clean . The Hotel food was good. The general atmosphere is quite relaxed. The location is quite good if you have a car

I'm not sure what you mean by don't use this review for complaints, isn't describing what you don't like the same as complaining?. The bathroom floor is very slippery ( we also heard other people saying the same thing ) , the water in the pool was quite cold ( Myself and my wife have been members for years of others Spa such as the Gresham hotel and Silversprings hotel in Cork and have been various times in the Inchydoney Spa resort and we have never experienced a pool so cold. The staff in the restaurant part was quite rude when my wife ( who is 4 months pregnant) asked if we could sit for a meal she pointed towards the bar part , I assumed because we were casually dressed, they could have mentioned a dress code and also not everyone was wearing a shirt. The hotel is a 5 Star but I think its a little pretentious, It tries to create an old type of grandiouse estate resort but fails particularly because of the law ceilings and the dark room in the breakfast area which reminds you more of a city centre type of Hotel than a beautiful old house. The jacuzy is really dangerous, I slipped as there is 1 m drop after the first step with no worning If this Hotel wants to have a real cloisters of Spa they should take a look at the spa in Inchydoney resort.

Customer service was excellent, Quiet location, however central enough! Peaceful after a long days drive and work. Great spa and gym, fantastic food, great pub with a relaxed atmoshere serving excellent fresh food. Staff were all happy nothing too much trouble. The entire hotel had a laid back relaxed atmosphere yet everything worked like clockwork. Very happy would certainly return

If anything the tv in my room was a little antiquated and in this day and age could have more channels

Without going into too much detail, I'd just like to say that this hotel is the best hotel that we have stayed in withinIreland . Absolutely fantastic on every level...:) :)

The hotel and spa completely met our expectations. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent.

We were disappointed to discover an old cigarette end on the carpet by the window and another actually wedged within the window frame. As ardent non-smokers we were upset at having to remove these items. Poor cleaning - yes. Disgusting smokers - certainly!

Food in bar and resturant were not great, expected food in fine dining resturant to be much better.

Frendliness of staff was excellent. Daniel the manager was particularly helpful and friendly. Food and facilities were second to none. Definite return trip planned.

The staff were really friendly , ( genuine friendly , not fake friendly like in some hotels ) ,they honestly couldn't have been more helpful, the room was immaculate, the jacuzzi bath was amazing, almost didn't want to leave the room at all over the weekend, the food in molly darcys bar was delicious and was reasonably priced.

Receptionist and porter friendly on arrival. Location near national park very good Food in bar was excellent Breakfast was very nice

We werent able to eat in restaurant. Only booking available was 9.30pm. Newspapers weren't an option available without having to ask. Very quiet but accept that it was early in the season. As a result lack of atmosphere.

It was lovely the spa was great the garden was nice The outdoor hottub was amazing Staff were very welcoming & helpful Overall was amazing
