No TV in room
Westport is a must stop town to see. Great nightlife. Many B & B s in the area and we wanted to stay in the city center but everything was taken. Nephin is out a bit but just a short ride. Large, clean comfortable room. Pretty house and gardens outside.
When it came time to pay, the owner would only accept cash. All other B & B s we had stayed at accepted a credit card. She said it should have been specified in our paperwork but I did not see it. Because we were traveling we didn't want to carry much cash. Luckily we had enough with us.
Easy access, lovely room and easy going staff.. Stayed there after competing in the sea to summit, great welcome, top class facilities and the top price around!
nice warm b&b friendly hosts Good breakfast
We liked everything Could not fault a thing. Would recommend to family & friends.
Friendly host. nice cuppa and bikkies on arrival. flowers in garden area. Views. Very close to Westport town. I walked in. Very friendly location indeed. Brill in every respect.
I am not going to give any negative response. Fabulous stay.
Hostess very helpful and nothing was a problem.great shower and it was great to have hot drinks available any to time.the TV lounge was a cozy place with a lovely fire
bedroom and bathroom: a DELIGHT! great breakfast!
need the car to go to the city centre
This is a brilliant place to stay, great location, close to the town and the house is beautiful and very comfortable, lots of hot water and the breakfast was delicious. Imelda is a lovely lady and made us feel very welcome, there were three of us and we all agree we highly recommend Nephin Lodge. Also Westport is a very friendly and warm place to visit. Catherine, Michael and Sam, Australia.
There is nothing.
Nice landlady, good and large Irish breakfast, a few minuts from Westport center.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely views, Guest sitting room with coffee making facilities. The harbour is a short drive away and there are wonderful views of the mountains. Very picturesque. Good restaurants and pubs. Good breakfast
No Tea and coffee making facilities in the room but that didn't inconvenience us. We were able to fill a flask with hot water and use the milk from the guest sitting room for our early morning tea.
Best Breakfast in Irland! Verry clean Site Easy TO find
Out of the way location
Was excellent value. Clean comfortable room . Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good.
Although only 15 minutes walk from town , was not the safest for walking to particularly after dark as some of roads poorly lit and no footpath. Not an issue if using car all the time and plenty of parking
Very helpful host and excellent breakfasts.
You would probably need to get a taxi back from the town in the evenings, but it cost us EUR10 between five of us so not really a problem at all.
Room and bathroom size
Relatively far from town. No chairs or space to sit outside. Bed springs popping into our faces. Owner members came back at 2 am and very noisy with front door lights coming on and waking us up since our window was at the house entrance. Owner member fell out of bed at 3am and woke us up one more time, as they were just above our bedroom. They homeowner's dog had a bowel movement at the front door steps. It was never cleaned up the 48 hours we spent there.
Beds low quality and the plumbing was not to code. Breakfast was not the standard of most B&B.
Imelda very friendly. Accomodation very clean.
The room we were in ( 3 ) was a wee bit cramped. 3 beds on one room left little space to put our cases. Also TV on the wall view not available for the double bed as right above it. Communal toiletries already used.
It was lovely and clean, breakfast was very tasty, it was close to town owner even gave us a lift into town which I thought was very nice saved us 6 euro, we where a bit late at arriving it wasn't a problem an late for breakfast and the lady of the house left what she was doing to see to us, will be returning with the kids, the room I was in would have slept my family of 5 very roomy, nice and quite the owner said they where full I never heard them it was great
Staff where so nice great location and value
Had a lovely stay and the owner imelda was so welcoming. Property was spotless and very comfortable would definitely stay here again
Good location, beautiful house, comfortable, very friendly family and value for money. I would recommend
Location to city centre. Comfortable. Beds. Newer private bathroom.
Wifi was out as hosts were in the process of changing providers.
Imelda the owner was extremely helpful, she went above and beyond for our group drying our mountain gear after day hiking and ensuring we had dry gear for day 2 of our hiking challenge. Breakfast also was very good. Located very close to the town. Great value for money and would definitely recommend here as a place to stay.
Shower could have been hotter and perhaps bit more powerful.
lovely welcome from Imelda and she showed us to our destination in Westport.
TV could not be viewed from double bed. Bed head on single bed broken. breakfast was overdone. I would recommend blinds in the bedroom (room 1) to keep out morning light.
