Friendless Food Good clean Hotel
Room had character and was very clean, warm and cosy. Staff were friendly and warm. Hotel has character and breakfast was great.
Good location, parking at rear, nice clean room, friendly staff, value for money.
music on to early morning, and not very well sound proofed from corridor.
Lovely food. Staff so very helpful and friendly. All in all very good.
The staff were very friendly and food was good.
The room was small, but it did the job.
Staff very Friendly and tried to help all the time. Food was lovely and the place was
Floor Boards were creaking and partition walls were very thin. Could hear the people in the next room when they came in sometime during the night. They didnt make loud noise it was just the floor was very creaky and you could hear them talking and they werent shouting.

Breakfast best ever in years, fresh produce, home made brown bread , fresh ground coffee . Food , Service, Staff in Bar excellent
Room very small and outdated ....bathroom / facilities tiny
Quaintness, friendly staff, very accommodating. Great WiFi
Couldn't stay longer
Liked the lady owner (pregnant) who looked after us well.
Food and parking
Noise and trouble locking the door
Great breakfast and very clean
Price not as advertised Room not as in pictures, quite old fashioned 2 of the 3 coffee sachets in room were congealed and undrinkable Electric socket beside bed wasn't working properly, couldn't switch off. Bedside lamp shade wasn't secured properly and fell sideways when touched Very hot and no aircon, asked for a fan but didn't get one Left after first night having paid for two and wasn't offered a refund
Liked the room and the breakfast and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Good parking and good location
Very creaky floor which could be heard next door and vice versa. Also, noise from the bar was very loud and didn't help sleep. Could even hear staff moving stools after patrons had left the bar.....at 3.15 am on Sat night/ Sun am?????
I left my car keys in the boot like an eejit and they rang me to let me know that they had them and were minding them. Fair play!
Easy to find and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great.
The floor boards were very noisy, the loo had a brown stain and we weren't pre warned about the live music that went on until at least 1am and sounded as if it were in the room with us. This is more like B&B rather than hotel so we felt it was pricey, particularly for a small town like Athenry. we had stayed in the Gresham Dublin the previous night for similar cost and much better value.
Clean and friendly
Nothing to do around the town and advertised as wifi but there was no wifi available. Huge issue for me I'm afraid
The one bit of food I did actually get, food in the bar the first evening.
The fact that I paid for bed and breakfast and didn't get breakfast as there was no staff around at 8am! The room was horrific, I have stayed in better hostels and this was advertised as a hotel! An absolute disgrace.
Wifi problems, but the staff helped out where they could.
Friendly staff and good breakfast
Excellent location, safe off street parking, friendly staff and comfortable rooms with a great breakfast, I would highly recommend.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Food was delicious. Loved the homely, quaintness of the hotel Perfect place to stay if you are a night owl who likes to stay up till the early hours of the morning.
If you are an early bird like me then this is not the best place for you. I stayed for 2 nights and other guests stayed up till 3.30am talking loudly and laughing each night - which is fine and why not. However, I only got a few hours sleep each night and wasn't fit to enjoy my days.
Staff are super friendly. It is clean, neat & comfortable.
I could not get the wifi to work which was awkward as I needed to do research for work
liked everything about it.Service, friendly staff and the food food.. ,
Very friendly staff made my stay excellent.
The hotel furniture and fixtures were dated.
