Centrally located Easy to find Plenty of amenities close by
Drunks sitting outside my window at 3am!
Breakfast wasn't great bad table service no tea or Coffey brought out with it just a very poor breakfast
Location and friendliness of staff. Breakfast very nice.
Can't think of anything...
lovely friendly staff good quality rooms
the dinners in the hotel are poor we eat there the first night and I would not recommend breakfast was lovely
i was delighted to see a secure gated car park to keep my van/tools safe
i was longer than my bed
Very helpful staff, allowed us into room on early arrival. Very good meals. One very minor matter dealt with immediately. We were able to leave luggage at reception after check out as we had evening coach pick up. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent staff, complete standard of hygiene & cleanliness absolutely excellent with daily linen/towel change etc. Location in town is brilliant although proximity to railway station didn't bother me in the slightest the noise may not suit others. All round service excellent nothing is too much trouble. Enjoyed my stay.
Rooms not "airy" enough couldn't open window more than a smidgen - very understandably as room on first floor - however it meant I found the room slightly stuffy. Not enough parking extremely small car park.
Had a lovely stay, food excellent, room lovely very spacious and beds very comfy. Where we were was very quiet. Will definitely stay again ,also has free car park which is secure.
Nothing I didn't like.
comfortable room. good choice of food on menu location.friendleness of staff
I felt it was a bit expensive and wouldn't normally pay this much for b&b for a night.
location,very convient to rail station
the female staff member who slammed door in our faces when we returned at night and left us standing in heavy rain for several minutes.the rest of staff did their jobs efficiently. No shampoo supplied
Comfortable rooms, nice location, friendly staff,
The Chinese restaurant
1) room staff very nice 2) parking 3) late breakfast 4) possibly much quiter than other hotels as a short distance from the main centre 5) Not over fussy, very relaxed
1) room too hot - no fan etc 2) no earplugs as noisy outside at night 3) double room too small for locker both sides of bed 4) breakfast served in bar is not the best setting - large room empty behind reception and nearer kitchen 5) location slightly out of town - this may also be a benefit also
Attention to detail. Have special diet and got call to discuss before staying.
Stayed in july - Room temperature very warm. Only one window and no way of cooling room.
The room we got was clearly a smoking room and smelt awful. I was literally physically ill the next day and all clothes had smell off them. I had asked for no smoking room. Could not face breakfast and will never return or recommend.
central location good breakfast
it was all fine
staff were nice and breakfast was good.
bedroom window was fixed so as it could only open 2 inches, from a fire safety aspect this could not be proper or legal. The hand basin in the bathroom was blocked and the rail line runs right by the hotel and this was not mentioned on the website.
convienent location ,onsite parking.
hotel room bed was like a brick, unable to get any reasonable sleep. service poor in the bar.
The staff were very friendly making sure we knew where everything was. Breakfast was lovely, service excellent. There is a chinese restaurant in the basement which we went to and it was lovely.
Basic no frills Hotel beside a railway station/line and busy road. Noise from both at times required the TV to be turned up.
The management have made big efforts to modernise the hotel within the constraints of the size and shape of the site, and it is now a fine place for an overnight stop, being at the end of the Main Street of Mullingar.
The Staff were all great people
the staff were very helpfull
I found the staff helpful and friendly. It was a relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely return to this hotel.
The only downside was noise from outside late at night
i liked everything about the newbury hotel. the staff were most helpful and friendly. nothing you asked was any bother to them to do. i found it a very inviting hotel the minute you stepped in the door. there was lovely vases of fresh flowers in reception. the entire hotel was spotless. i would most certainly stay at the newbury again and would highly recommend to others.
i cant really find any fault with this hotel, apart from the early morning traffic. our bedroom wasin the front of hotel and noisefrom traffic was quiet loud
Room ,dining area and lounge all at same level.Lift from private carpark. Room was really good value for money. Will be back. Oliver.
