The breakfast was lovely. A nice change from the traditonal fatty Irish breakfasts. (which are great, but not for every day). Staff were friendly and beds were comfortable. Great value for money |

Very well laid out and furnished boutique hostel?family hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent location for visiting Newgrange and looks like it must be a great social scene in the busy summer months. The bathrooms are too small and the breakfast was good, but simpler that at the B & Bs we stayed at on other nights. |

The helpfulness and friendleness of the staff. Provided excellent advice regarding local restaurants etc. Located two minutes walk from the Newgrange historic site It does not have its own restauranr or bar. This is compensated by local facilities |

Great common lounge areas. Guest kitchen was great for making supper for the kids & using the fridge. Free computer & internet use great as the kids could use it while we could sit close by to supervise. Rooms were clean & staff were very friendly. Not advertised that there was no bar - although we brought a few beers & enjoyed them in the conservatory while the kids used the internet. Rooms were clean but we were in room 32 & 33 right beside what may have been a laundry room and so had the sound of draining water all night. |

Great location - for getting to Newgrange early. Also got reduced entrance to site for being guest from the Lodge. Free wi-fi a definite bonus. NIce decking and outisde area to sit and relax. The price fluctuated constantly so cancelled twice and rebooked to get a better rate. Happy with 65 Euros finally paid - but original 80 Euros would have been too much for accomodation. The walls are very thin!! |

It's at a great location being right across the street from the Newgrange Historical Sights. Easy drive to/from the airport and great value. Rooms a little tight, but we fit 2 baby cots in our room without too much issue. |

The staff at Newgrange were very helpful at all times and gave information regarding local sightseeing sites and places to eat. On reflection the Lodge was fairly expensive compared to other sites around Ireland that we visited over a two week period |

Next to world-famous Newgrange and the scene of Battle of the Boyne, this friendly guest house offers an Irish bar, good food and comfortable rooms a 5-minute drive from Drogheda. |
Opt for a peaceful, indulgent escape at this 18th-century Georgian manor on the banks of the River Boyne Valley, 5 minutes from Newgrange and 25 minutes from the Hill of Tara. |
