I already submitted the questionnaire from the bedroom!
We stayed for 3 nights over New Years Eve, and it was lovely. We didn't spend much time in the hotel as we were out and about doing different things, so we cannot comment on the facilities of the hotel as we didn't actually use them. We didn't pay for breakfast, as there is a cafe around the corner which charged half the price that the hotel did, and that was good enough for us. The room itself was big and modern which we liked, the bed was comfy, the pillows however were too high for me so I didn't have the best nights sleep on all 3 nights due to this. The staff were nice and helpful. There is a taxi rank which is located right outside the hotel. The walk into the centre is about 10-15 minutes. Overall, good stay.
The location! If the hotel was in a different location we would definitely return to it. The area was run down, and we hated walking back at night due to this. The noise from the tram line was also loud but we expected this so wasn't much of an issue.
Had a great time, felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. It was spot on, nothing to complain about at all, the food was excellent too!!! Can't wait to return!!
This hotel is great...convenient to the town and the 3 Arena which is were i was going...the room was excellent,,both spacious and cosy...friendly staff...the windows open up to a balcony which on a lovely day would be great...
My only negative is that we had to go up a few stairs to get to the lift..it wouldn't be suitable for people with disabilities...but there maybe an alternative to this....
Close to Rail Station Beds and Wi Fi excellent Excellent Shuffle to Airport Room attendants gave excellent service
Very Noisy;would recommend other side of Hotel An older room with uneven carpet. Very warm in room Front DesK Staff a little standoffish No Lift
Lovely room, very large comfy bed, great location taxi rank outside the door!
No residents bar, slightly over priced parking is €8 extra paid €129 for 1 night + €25 for breakfast + €8 for parking
The room was lovely and we had a a balcony which was nice
Situated a short walk from O'Connell Street and great shopping the hotel also had a great restaurant and friendly helpful staff. The family room was on the smaller side and starting to tire but fully served our purpose on the two occasions that we stayed (2 night and a single night before catching the ferry to the UK).
Lighting in the bathroom and room was poor for the females to do makeup and to read by.
Clean comfortable hotel, good location
I booked this hotel for my parents and paid over the phone in advance to avoid them dealing with the bill. However, the morning after they checked in, I received a call from the hotel asking me if I intended to check in. I said that my parents had checked in and if there was a problem. They replied that there wasn't but that I should ask my parents to make themselves known to reception. As they were out for the day I didn't see it fit to disturb them and ask them to return to the hotel. After 3 or 4 confusing phonecalls I was told that there had been a mix-up and was given an explanation of what happened in hotel jargon (they kept mentioning the 'reg book' without explaining what it actually was).
We we're upgraded for free so can't comment on standard rooms. Staff we're lovely, cleaners were great. Good facilities, a little out of the centre if you like Temple Bar etc. Great aircon, modern tv etc. If this place had a pool and live music I wouldn't leave the hotel!
Some chips in the framework of doors and furniture. Location was about €10 taxi ride back after midnight.
The room was quite functional and tidy, everything was cleaned and well-maintained. As it is near the station, one might be bothered by the passing trains; we weren't at all.
room and food
.Staff were nice. .Food in the bar was good .Rooms were clean
.Room size was misleading from the ones advertised which was disappointing. we were on the ground floor and there were bars outside the windows. it was fairly pokey room & small bathroom. Considering the price we paid we thought it was bad value. .No sky sports in the bar .No baby changing facilities throughout the hotel
Close proximity to Dublin Centre Affordable Good breakfast Nicely finished room
Trains started very early outside of our room, impossible to sleep. Our room was not level, literally not level. Things would roll of tables etc.
Friendly Staff Great Location Price Cleanliness Comfort Free WiFi Complimentary Room Upgrade! Complimentary use of Residents Lounge! Great Food
Nothing! Everything was great
When we got the hotel we didn't have any sleep due to travelling, the receptionists let us check in hours before so we could get some rest. This was very much appreciated and there was good customer service throughout our stay.
Everything was to a very High standard, staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar was very clean and food was excellent
Just enjoyed a fantastic couple of days in Dublin celebrating New Year. The hotel was perfect in a great location just a 10/15 minute walk to the heart of everything i.e The Temple Bar & Grafton street. The hotel itself was great very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. They also supply a free shuttle bus to take you to and from the airport, overall the whole trip was fantastic and would recommend the whole experience to anyone.
We love this hotel and we got a free upgrade .
Nothing can't fault
Great breakfast , parking was a little complicated, but I would stay again
I was so impressed with this newly refurbished hotel from the moment that I arrived. Its a four star hotel like no other I have stayed in. The hotel is run by a dedicated team of Irish and European staff who really DO work hard to make sure that visitors are taken care of. On arrival I was delighted to be welcomed by a smart man on the front desk who checked me in quickly and who was friendly and informative. He was also sympathetic to some bad news I had of a friend prior to setting off. That's showed me that he cared. The room I stayed in was absolutely beautiful and so too is the décor though out the building. Service in the restaurant was lovely and I enjoyed myself. When there was an issue with an electronic card not working correctly an experienced lady named Claire took control and solved the problem. It was good share a few things with her which is part of fun of travelling to new places. Security at night is good and guests can feel reassured.
There was absolutely nothing about the hotel that I did not like. It was fabulous. My only concern was the behaviour of a pair young couples from England and there disrespect for others in the residents lounge on the morning of my departure. Sadly they used foul language after a few drinks and after they had finished the table was covered with beer bottles. PLEASE visitors respect this place and be inconsiderate and well behaved in this special place.
A good location and nice spacious room
Extremely handy location, right beside train station and close to venue which was purpose of our visit.
Very friendly and welcoming staff.....beautiful food......overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay
