The hotel decore as well as the rooms themselves was wonderful. Simple and stylish. The common room is particularly amazing. The staff were extremely efficient and courteous. However, the proximity to the Connolly station, and hence the constant supply of taxis, as well as the Luas (tram), and the closeness of major shopping streets was the real gem. Also the science block of TCD can be easily reached within ten minutes, which was essential for my trip. Not a gripe but it should be pointed out that the facade of the hotel is quite old and plain making what lies inside quite a surprise. Also the area itself is not bad but is quite close to areas which have a bad reputation. This is not a problem as long as one is attentive of ones surroundings. |

Great location, opposite Connelly Station and 15 mins walk from Croke Park. Room had no air conditioning, and our particular one was located on the street side of the building, meaning we had a noisy night's sleep as we had to keep the window open for fresh air. |

The staff were friendly. there was a very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. It was basic but very clean, which was the most important factor for me. The hotel was on a busy road and across from Connolly train station. This menat there was quite a lot of noise. This did not bother me too much but might be a problem for others. |

On arriving to Dublin, we rang reception who directed us directly to the door of hotel. On requesting extra towel - they were delivered within a couple of mins. Car park facilities were very helpful. |

location. residents parking could be free of charge and air conditioning should be able to switch off at night as it can be a bit noisy. |

Room and lounge were good Constant feeling of being ripped off, charged for everything, advert stated WiFi, I travel all over the world and nobody charges for WiFi, they tried to charge me €14 for one day. I asked to leave my bag with the concierge, another €3. Not a service based hotel, reminded me of being in New York |

Beds comfortable and clean The corridors and rooms smelt of either of smoke or damp. The guest lounge smelt particularly unpleasant. The first impressions were dark and dreary although the reception when you got to it was bit brighter. The pictures on booking.com are only for the newly refurbished rooms, and therefore do not create a true picture of the hotel. You take pot luck as to whether you get a refurbished room! |

We had a very enjoyable weekend stay. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We arrived about an hour before the room was to be ready for us but the receptionist made a quick call and the room was ready - no problem. We only ate breakfast in the hotel but it was excellent. All in all - very good indeed. |

The location is ideal situated opposite Connolly Station and a 2 min walk to the Central Bus Station (airport bus). It is also near to the IFSC. The city (O'Connell Street) is a 15min walk away. Ideal to explore the city. The breakfast was ok (cereals, some sliced fruit, egg, bacon, sausage, beans, black/white pudding, toast, spreads and yoghurt) but I would have liked some danish or croissant, too. The bed was unevenly hard/soft which gave me some pain in my shoulder and back, the shower head couldnt be turned so a bit of water ended up in the bath rather than on me. |

I had stayed here before and went back because its located pretty well, train station is right across the road (and with it taxi rank) so very easy to get around. Also we booked a normal room but when we arrived we were given one of the premier rooms (dont know why). |

The first room we were given was a standard room, as booked although their idea of standard is what I would call "budget". The room was very tired, the walls were damp and generally just smelled musty and un-clean. We did move to a re-furbished room which was lovely, but for an extra charge of 30 euros per night - the pictures on booking.com are only for the newly refurbished rooms, and therefore do not create a true picture of the hotel. |
