Loved the location. Smack bang in the middle of town, middle of the action, easy to find and navigate around. Staff were exemplary in their care and attention. Breakfast was just what I wanted, help myself, no fuss, lots on offer.
The rooms are small but it's 600 years old! I put up with it because of the location. Parking is a little bit away. It's noisy but if u want peace and quiet then go to the middle of the countryside! Galway is alive and buzzing...
Beds very comfortable and room lovely and warm.
No wardrobes and rooms a bit small.
The owner was very friendly & helpful. the hotel was very clean & cosy. Will certainly stop there again.
No free table available in breakfast room to sit down & eat
The shower water was not hot
Room was temp controlled, very clean, staff were friendly. Location was excellent
Weekend, City Street noise
The bed was so comfortable
Rooms a little small but bed super comfortable so it didn't matter!
Breakfast was very poor with little choice for a continental breakfast.
Lovely quirky hotel location could not be more central
Music from bars across the street and noise from passers by until 3 am Breakfast was poor with little choice
Location in heart of Galway restaurants and night scene. Stafff very helpful. Nice breakfast. Will def use this premises again.
No room with double and single beds.
Great location!! Comfy bed and the room and bathroom was spotless!! Was expecting to be awake all night because of the location but slept soundly :)
Even though the room was comfy it was very, very small!! Couldn't get the Tv to work either but we didn't spend much time there to care 2 much.
The bars next door started rolling metal beer kegs from 5am until we departed at 9am. So we got NO sleep from 5am onwards. Otherwise the property is in great location, clean and cute.
- Size of room; no room for a suitcase or anything for that matter! - Cleanliness of room; stains all over the walls and carpet - Lack of facilities in the room; no tea/coffee, no wardrobe/anywhere to hang our clothes up (not a single hanger in the room), no chair to sit on, no iron, our TV didn't work! - Breakfast; milk was sour, no hot breakfast option, no staff around, no ambiance. - Value for money; Terrible!!!! This was an awful hotel and would discourage anyone from staying here!!
The room was small but it didn't bother us as it was very cosy and well organized. We slept very well, we asked for a quiet room and they gave us one which was nice. Everyone we met from the hotel was very friendly. The location is great, it's right in the city center and not far from the bus station.
Our room was on the last floor - the internet didn't work in our room, we had to go down the staircase a bit to get a connection.
Staff were friendly, helpful and flexible. Hotel was exactly as claimed - small and very central but prone to noise due to location. We slept well as had ear plugs and asked for a quieter room.
Very little hanging room. Would suggest 2 day stay as a max and take little luggage. Not luxurious but perfectly fine, old building and looks a bit worn but bed was comfy and it was clean.
Very nice place to stay staff very helpful
- Central location
- The receptionist was outside and we (and another guest) couldn't find her to check in - I couldn't get wifi in my room on the top floor. - There should be more details about where to park
The location! It can't get any better than this. Right in the center! We really appreciated the convenience that the location of the hotel provided to us!
Too much noise from the street but it became quiet after midnight. The bedrooms are extremely small. The smallest bedrooms that I have ever seen.
Rooms tiny, very noisy
This was my second stay here, had a lovely time again! We just used the room to wash, dress and sleep in, there's isn't room for anything else. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Self-serve Breakfast was nice.
Had one issue with our toilet which was dealt with appropriately.
Room very small but it is nice
Excellent location and great value for money
Girl on check in wasn't very knowledgeable and completely monosyllabic. Very noisy spot but I guess that's what happens when your this central
Noise from the pubs incredibly loud. we couldnt sleep till 3 AM every night. Bad smell from bathroom.
Great central location within easy walking distance of all attractions.Very friendly staff....lovely little place !
