Noise noise noise and poor maintenance
Lovely town house. rooms were small but decor was lovely . Ideal for 1 night . Location was excellent.
The location is great and the duvets and decor in the room
It's seen better days need a lick of paint , and the rooms are tiny I was alone in a double room , I don't know how you would cope with 2 people in it , and there is no way 2 people could fit in the bathroom . It was also rather noisy all night due to the bars at the front
Bathroom was clean and a good size. Nice shower!
Really tight quarters in the room. The double bed in the space was really a squeeze. Just like central Paris!
good location, nice décor, nice staff and comfortable bed
the noise outside at night was very loud and didn't stop till 4 in the morning. No tea and coffee facilities. Very minimal continental breakfast
We were greeted warmly and advised on where places were and fish restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable and not too noisy even though over a main street. Breakfast had a good range of choices. we could walk to everything in under 5 minutes including the carpark on a school playground with overnight parking.
the rooms were clean. the staff was very nice and helpful
rooms too small for two people and luggage stairs too narrow for hauling luggage loud noise from the street no closet space
location and house, history of building.
Very loud at night, as tourists walked the streets until early morning. Not good for family with small children.
I thought is was very quaint, simple & clean. I would definately recommend this hotel to others... will be back again.
Nothing was too much for the staff, they were always happy to help.
Room was too small
Would love to have had the option to have a cooked breakfast, even if it meant an extra charge. Staff very helpful and friendly, will be back! Thank you
Extremely small room. TV didn't work. Staff polite but not warm or welcoming. Felt a little unsecure as the front door was proped open all day long. Breakfast was very very poor!
Location was excellent, no need for taxis everything is on your door step.
Barely 6 inches between the bed and the wall on all sides, noise from the street can keep you awake til breakfast which is then very minimal, poorly presented and with a little more effort could be done so much better. Room was not ready on arrival at 15.00, and not serviced the following day until after 17.00. More organisation needed and perhaps more staff in order to facilitate quick turn over of rooms.
Location is the only good thing
small rooms (tiny), not suitable for double, you need to climb over the bed. No hangers or wardrobe, no international tv channels (not even BBC). Breakfast was very cheap looking, they just buy supermarket stuff and place it on a table. Felt like student accomodation.
Location was great, The staff went above and beyond to make us breakfast at 5:30am before we left.
Small, small, very small room and bathroom. Okay for the amount of time we were in the room but too small for two people and luggage. Only room for the bed. The wifi was difficult on the top floor, didn't work that well.
Great location right in city centre good value for money, ideal if you are planning going out alot.
Rooms a bit small.
Location, Breakfast, staff
Very small rooms
Great location in Galway City
Very small and cramped
We bought the house for seven and when we got to the hotel, we discovered the house wasn't next to the hotel, but some streets further, so the location of the accomodation wasn't at the town center (something we cared for especially). Once we got to the house, we were wellcomed by a discusting smell and old damaged pieces of furniture. We had booked breakfast as well, but the recepcionist at the hotel told us we would find our breakfast in the fridge, when we looked at it, we found some expired baggels and already-used butter which we decided to throw away. To sum up, we felt totally deceived.
Lovely hotel. Everything about it was fantastic - staff, location, bed, breakfast, ambience and great value for money. Couldn't have asked for more.
Brilliant area close to everything.
Size of bedrooms Breakfast
Location Staff service
Booked a house with breakfast. What was provided was enough for bit more than the first day. No one came and filled it up the next days. No wifi as promissed. No room for 7 people to sitt together.
The location was excellent. The staff were very friendly.
