I like the staff and location.
Its no beautiful place, but its pleasant!
In the city center nearby connolly station, o'connel street.
Central location, walking distance to many attractions. Car parking facilities available on request. Friendly staff were helpful and plaeasant. We paid €70 which I think is a fair price. A room at the back of the hotel meant no noise.
- The pub on the ground floor is wonderful. There are a lot of live music events. - I enjoyed the bath in the room - The rooms have all what you need
- you can clearly hear noises from the other rooms. It doesn't really bother me, but it can be annoying for other people - If you want to sleep and there live music in the pub, you have to wait that it's over. It doesn't last longer than 1 o'clock on weekends night though
The room was nice and warm, good breakfast for €5 witch I think it's plenty to pay
Hotel was good.Location was good.Nightly entertainment was very good.
Seemed to be a staff shortage at breakfast time.
I liked the bathroom and it was clean and very good location
I didn't like that every time you leave the hotel you must leave your key at reception and an alarm went off outside my door at 6.30am i was told it was a water leakage alarm but it was constantly on and at 8.30 i left gge hotel with a blinding headache and no breakfast as i couldn't listen to it a second longer and the room was freezing as the heating didn't come omd til 8pm and i had asked earlier and was told it will be at 6pm but it wasn't and there was no extra blanket
I highly recommend this hotel. It is off of O'Connell street (maybe 5 min walk from/to the big spire), which means it's very conveniently located. The neighborhood is safe and doesn't get all the noise to be had in O'Connell St. The staff was super friendly and even gave me a deal they were running at the moment even if it was initially part of my reservation. My room had everything I needed, it was comfortable, clean, and cozy. Bear in mind that rooms at non-chain hotels in Europe oftentimes are not big or overly spacious, but they are still functional. They do have, charm however, which adds to the traveling experience. The hotel's pub on the ground floor offers live music in a nice atmosphere: should you feel too tired one evening to go out, you can stay at the hotel, enjoy some Irish chants, and toast with a pint of Guinness! That's what I did one evening after walking all day to all the sites. Finally, the breakfast at the hotel offer a great value/cost ratio: the full Irish breakfast was yummy and kept me full for hours! Overall, I don't have any complaint to report. My stay was very pleasant, I had a lovely view from my window with sunshine coming through in the morning, and I plan on staying there again on my next trip to Dublin!
i had a great stay here and the staff are very pleasant it is a great hotel and i will be back
no free wifi
Excellent from walking through the door till we left would recommend
Food fantastic. Receptionist on arrival helpful. Bar nice. Location ok.
We left at 5am - we were not credited for the breakfast we couldn't have and appauled a different receptionist to the one on our arrival turned away our taxi without ringing our room to check if we had one booked!!- we were subsequently very late arriving at airport as it was difficult to get a taxi at 5am. Nearly missed flight.
Excellent location very convenient to shops, bars, restaurants, bus station etc. staff very friendly & helpful. Good breakfast
Rooms need up dating, shower was difficult to turn off. The hotel is in need of a refurb
Gentleman checking us in was very friendly, good natured and a bit of craic out of him. Convenient location for us heading back up M1
Rooms very dated and stuffy. No real facility. Staff extremely noisy in the morning when cleaning. Shout down corridors after each other etc. Lady on checkout did not want to be there! Zero interest in guests and generally just rude. For what we paid, wasn't expecting any better to be fair. But manners go a long way.
Corridor was a little smelly Bathroom door did not close Bathroom was very narrow and a little mouldy
Staff very friendly and the room was warm and comfortable
Location, Safe zone, the room was ready at 10 am. Comfortable bed.
The staff was rude and not helpful. The room looked very old, smelly carpets, no towels in the smelly bathroom. The shower was very dirty with hairs of others... Everything looked very old and dirty. The worst part was during the night. During the weekend you can hear the live music of a pub as if you were in front of the singer. I couldn't sleep until 2am. Horrible place.
Location, bar, and staff
Bedroom smell of smoke in the room all night
The room was very nice and quite spacious and the bathroom was fairly large as well. Minor problems with the heating but the staff was helpful. And breakfast was great!
The room was like something you would have seen 20 years ago I never seen anything like it. The hand towels was like sandpaper and no bathtowels could not even have a shower next morning. Its not like what it shows on the photos the have up. Did not sleep all night with the noise. I would never stay there again .
Staff was very friendly Location was good Bar attached with live music Updated bathroom
Not very clean Phone was very dirty/dingy Bed was not comfortable Carpet was very uneven and lumpy Walls/Ceiling thin. Could hear people walking upstairs and in the hallway
The Bar was lively spot, the staff were friendly & the guinness was great.
The room was grubby, the bed was lumpy & the pillow was hard. The panel under the bath was falling off & it was quiet dirty around the sink.
Craic in Bar was brilliant, Great banter with bar people, Excelent location,
Parking set up is an absolute joke. Rooms are tiny for the price. Staff a bit clueless. Wouldn't stay again.
location food hospitality good
out dated furniture and fittings
