the staff were very friendly, helpful.would definitely go back again great place to stay if you were climbing croagh patrick. fabulous view of the Atlantic ocean.
there was nothing i didn't like about the stay.
Great location near the seashore, good restaurant, comfortable and quite room. Very nice people that helped us with jump-start as a battery on our car was totally discharged in the evening.
Staff very friendly and helpful Food very well presented and very tasty lovely location well definetly return
Relaxed atmosphere & wonderful location. Away from the busy life; a great place to unwind and 'find ones self'
I enjoyed my visit from the first moment. All was very good! I especially liked the gorgeous view and the friendliness of the people. Very nice food in the pub!
When booked with Bookingcom quite expensive.
Views from b and b were amazing! Gorgeous beach just down the road that you look down on from the b and b. Breathtaking scenic drive from kylemore abbey through mountains. Tasty food in the restaurant that overlooks the beach. Good breakfast. All staff very helpful!
Wish we could have stayed longer..it was just perfect!
Near to the ocean. Bar - You can drink and eat after sightseeing. Beautifull views. Fajny pensjonat blisko oceanu. Z parkingiem.
Basic standard. Poor Wi-FI. The staff might be more polite and hospitable.
The sea views.
friendly staff rooms clean and tidy slept the whole night through comfortable beds breakfast very good and evening meal even better stunning views
the distance out of the town and the fact the road down to the place was like a very small lane. had mobility problems but no lift black mould on window frame but a baby wipe soon put an end to that. cobwebs on the outside of the window but these are only small details
Friendly staff Cleanliness of bedroom and bathroom Value for money Food is excellent and well served Views from hotel were fabulous Good base for sightseeing and touring the area
Spacious clean rooms, modern decor, fantastic view, very good food, lovely beech beside hotel.
Location stunning and peaceful
Limited menu - no light lunch option
Great location. Food and staff good and helpful.
Bit expensive as I had to stay in a double room due to limited availability in the area at the time. Smell of stale tobacco smoke in room and in hall outside..
Staff friendly food excellent
Bathroom taps not working properly shower door separated from wall
The location is out of this world.
The food was basic and could be improved by simple steps like avoiding frozen chips and not offering the same specials 3 days in a row.
The location of the hotel is a little out of the way but the views from in front of the hotel are great. The breakfast was good value.
Our room was over the kitchen so it was on the noisy side
Loved the location, spectacular views. Food was very good too and we had a very enjoyable stay...we want to go back!
Nothing really, all in all a very enjoyable experience and great location.
the views, the staff and the food.
it was noisy in the bedroom at night from the bar downstairs,
location is fabulous. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. Sunsets and sunrise magnificent. Ocean Lodge is on a height so the views across green fields with sheep, cows, buttercups to the beaches, the sea with islands and mountains is beautiful.
nothing to dislike
The room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of Clew bay. The staff were pleasant and the food - both breakfast and dinner - was lovely. The location is good for exploring Southwest Mayo.
The location is attractive but a bit remote. Biggest problem was the noise. Live music in the pub downstairs until 2am Saturday night and 1am Sunday night made it impossible to sleep any earlier.
A very peaceful haven. Staff were lovely, the food was great and wonderful value. It was an ideal location for walking which we did.
The beds were a teeny bit too small . Think were double.
Very nice staff, fantastic view from the hotel, generous and nice breakfast, good value for money
Nice bar... Great prices! Excellent food!
ocean lodge a very nice and peaceful place to stay. the staff could not do enough for you very friendly and helpful. rooms were spotless and very comfy. food excellent. we would not want to stay anywhere else other than the ocean lodge when we are in that area.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. food was lovely and very well presented.
Found room far too warm during night and was eventually able to turn off radiator in room. That was the only complaint that stopped them getting an excellent review.
