Score from 68 reviews Excellent
Location for walking around Kenmare was perfect. The room was very large compared to others we've stayed in in Ireland with ample space for 3 (in a triple room). Quiet, even though it is above a pub!
Parking could be a problem although we managed to find a spot when needed.
The location and the spacious room were excellent but the two things that really stood out were the quality of the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff on duty.
There was honestly nothing in my stay that I did not like.
Right in middle of town
Not a good shower
Great location, spotlessly clean and the food was fantastic.
Having to leave at the end of our stay...
This is what you imagine an Irish bar to be like Great atmosphere, beer, food, company ,music [ which did not interfere with sleep] all in all an excellent place to stay .
no complaints at all
Staff we're very friendly and breakfast was good
A little on the expensive side for B&B
Location & room facilities were excellent for our 2 day stay in Kenmare. The apartment was spacious with views onto the Main Street.
Arrived a day early and although they were very busy, managed to accommodate us for an extra night. The seafood was fantastic.
Noise level was pretty good Breakfast was good Roomy bathroom
Internet connection was a problem Could use some updating. Dogs barking in the early morning
Everything, friendliness of hosts, cleanliness, quality of apartment, menu choice, lovely breakfasts and value for money.
Well located, comfortable spacious rooms, good breakfast.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Irish Music and meals.
Kenmare is a lovely, lively town. The holiday home was out of the centre but an easy 15 minute walk into the town. The accommodation was spacious and had all we needed to make it our base to explore the area. Ger was very welcoming and we enjoyed several really delicious meals in the pub.
excellent food, wonderful staff and comfortable room. The most amazing porridge I have ever had. Great location with good entertainment on site located in bar.
very large barking dogs next door. woke us in the morning and loud in the late afternoon. I think that is when they were let out onto the outside patio. nothing the staff could change.
Friendly staff, very well kept and nicely decorated. Lovely breakfast room with a good variety of options. Enviro friendly!
Street is a little noisy in the front rooms, but tolerable with the windows closed. No lift for those who have trouble with stairs.
Shower was cool . Breakfast was early 10 30 finish would be more suitable .
Location The Guinness The staff
Faboulous apartment. Every thing you could need and would highly recommend it to family and friends. Modern and comfortable.
Good food and friendly staff.
We spent two nights and couldn't have been happier. The pub downstairs had great food and entertainment. The location was perfect for exploring The Gap of Dunloe, The R.O.K. and Killarney. We were glad we changed our reservation from Killarney to Kenmare. We visited Killarney and it was to touristy. We will definitely stay at O'Donnabhain's in the future. The kids were able to go upatairs when they were tired while we finished our drinks listening to music in the pub downstairs. The breakfast were great as well. Full irish breakfast served with a smile.
The staff were all very friendly, the B&B is perfectly located, clean and reasonably priced.
The only thing I could say that we didn't like was the weird smell when we entered downstairs, but we just assumed it was something that was being cooked in the pub.
Highly recommended for location, comfort, food quality and friendly staff.
welcome, helpfulness, friendliness, comfort
