Featuring an all-you-can-eat breakfast and free Wi-Fi, this modern hostel is just off of Dublin's famous O'Connell Bridge. Guests can enjoy 24-hour front desk, a cinema room and nightly pub crawls.
Score from 564 reviews Good
This fun and well equipped hostel is a safe, clean environment with a perfect location in the center of Dublin, right in Temple Bar, the city's cultural quarter.
Score from 288 reviews Good
Just seconds from cultural Temple Bar, Abigail's Hostel has a great central location on Aston Quay, overlooking the Liffey River.
Score from 408 reviews Very good
The room, breakfast and location of the hostel was great.
The shower facility is really dirty and you have to pay for towels- some hostels offer rental towels.
The staff were helpful and polite I would visit Dublin again and stay at Gogartys as it was reasonably priced
Wifi only worked in some area of the hotel Pillows were like pancakes Window always got stuck and was hard to open
Centrally located, not too expensive, decent breakfast options.
Always loud, no matter what time of day. I slept with ear plugs and an eye mask and I could still hear the music from downstairs, which goes from 2:30 pm to 2:30am, a point of pride for Gogarty's. If you're looking for a quiet, restful place to sleep - don't stay in Temple Bar is the lesson. Gogarty's is no exception.
I liked that it is a safe place, people were nice and tried to help with your request. And most of all it is a clean please.
Access to parking of vehicle. Walking distance to public transport. Close proximatey to entertainment and resttaurants.
In the middle of Temple Bar. Great location! Beds are fine. But overall, nothing special.
There's a lot of noise. The noise of Temple Bar...but hey..it's Temple Bar, the centre of Temple Bar, so no complaints about that. But the noise of the watertaps of the other rooms is terrible. When somebody uses a watertap, it's like somebody tries to break down a wall. The solution? A lot of Guinness ;)
There is elevator The shower is electrical and with no timer The staff solve problems as soon as they can
There wasn't internet connection during my stay and I was in needing of this
Very very noisy at night - hard to sleep, bad bad breakfast
LOCATION WAS PERFECT FREE COFFEE
BIT NOISY AT NIGHT, BUT WE KNEW THAT BEFOREHAND.
Staff were great, great breakfast, loved the music from the pub.
A bit too noisy for us as mature travellers
The location. In the center of Temple bar with a traditional pub and restaurant.
Very small rooms. Ok for a family or close friends but difficult to share with unknown people. Very noisy, try to ask for a room not on the road side ; the pub is on the ground level and in summer when the doors are opened...
-location -free breakfast -free welcome drink -good music -nice people
-poor wifi connection -bathroom a little dirty -noisy and caotic at times
The location was perfect if you want to be in the middle of everything. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a lift was is rare and appreciated. When you arrive you get a free drink at the bar!
Because it is in the middle of everything, there is loud music and people partying on the streets until early morning.
Bar next door breakfast (basic) included friendly staff amazing location
wifi didn't work in our room on the 3rd floor.
Everything, very friendly staff, nice beds, good location and worth what you pay.
Location in temple bar Breakfast ! And availability of tea and coffee for guests Wifi access was good
Cant really complain, however, the excellent location means that you get revellers partying and shouting outside your windows all night :-)
Location. Chilled out atmosphere.
Location was great (even though it was loud.. but this is to be expected at Temple Bar). Staff was very friendly!
Dublin is very expensive so I'm not sure how it compares to others. But This hostel seemed expensive for a very tiny bunk-bed room. I guess you are paying for the location though.
Everything was near the hotel and the Hotel was easy to find...
Friendly staff, free half pint of Guinness and the warm welcome, discount car parking, great food in the restaurant and so much more
It was noisy due to other guests banging doors etc but it is a very popular area of Dublin with happy young students having a good tome
Great central location, the bar food was good and the live music every night gave the place a traditional and fun atmosphere.
Some of the guests were noisy. The restaurant on the top floor was very expensive so we chose not to eat there.
Elevator! Bags can be stored until the room is available. Free Gogartys C D...that we played throughout the trip!
Noisy outside into the wee hours though can be expected considering the great location.
