Lovely place to stay. Staff were great.
Very friendly atmosphere, lovely staff and comfortable rooms.
We were looking forward to the menu advertised in Olivers seafood restaurant, however this is seasonal and the restaurant was closed which was not on the website
Cheap, good cooked breakfast that could put at shame many continental hotels, pub downstairs with pool and few other games, quiet area.
Too easy to hear neighbors or noise from street, have to wait for hot water.
Excellent breakfast, good evening meal and lovely location.
Staff are very nice and friendly
Smell of the cooking in the rooms. Tiny bathroom that needs a serious clean and refresh. Broken mirror. Mattress needs to be turned, hollow in it at one side.
Proximity to harbour and ferry to Inishboffin Island. Availability of fresh fish. Oliver's restaurant and the range of food available. Closeness to other interesting parts of Connemara.Interesting peopke we met.
Lack of somewhere to sit other than in bedrooms. Lack of tea-making facilities. Noisy neighbours who came in very late. Plastic table covers! Smell of cooking in bedrooms
The pub was nice. The breakfast was good.
All the smells of food went up in the room and the room was small and not comfortable.
stayed last year , returned this year. Great location , good food and bar.
Good seafood for reasonable price
location beautiful tasty breakfast friendly staff
Noise of fan in bathroom.Food not great.
The owner/manager is great really warm and friendly running a good show Well motivated staff Really good food esp the crab and mussels Good atmosphere Interesting location on the pier in Cleggan Very good breakfast Good shower
Our only complaint was that we were kept awake by a family next door at night as the bedroom walls area bit thin.
The bar food was delicious.
There were no healthy choices for breakfast.
stairway to top bedroom for someone like myself on a walking stick a bit awkward but i managed
curtains were too small for the window and the street light was shining all night - mightn't bother some but ask for a room at the back as they don't overlook the street
The food is really very good indeed, we have been before and returned for the food. We had not stayed before though. There are plenty of Bed & Breakfast places nearby. Try the food it is great.
Poor room, bathroom ceiling leaked. We stayed two nights, our room was not visited after the first night, bed not made. We found some items under the bed obviously left by a previous guest.
Food, lovely, staff nice. Location picturesque Our stay in Oliver's was quite nice!
Due to heavy rain we found our en/suite ceiling had a bad leak, I advised the staff who changed us to another room " family room" we liked our room we were originally given , it had more of a view !
Excellent food in restaurant, particularly the fish menu.
Small room, broken hairdryer and very noisy bathroom fan.
Can't beat the location if you want to see the Aran Islands and cliffs of Mor from the sea. The price was more than reasonable and the bar/restaurant is right downstairs !
Lovely friendly staff, great food and good music in the bar.
Rooms were comfortable, staff were very hospitable. Amazing location and scenery and the food.....wow.....just the best.
Cleggan and the surrounding area
Basic accomodation over a busy and friendly pub - with a very nice and reasonably priced restaurant attached. Very handy for the ferry over to the island.
Our room did not have a stopper in the sink which made shaving a bit difficult but I managed.
Relaxed, clean rooms and great service especially breakfast on the morning Picturesque village and surrounding area.
