Staff were friendly & helpful. There wasn't any lift so with luggage for 4 adults and a 6mth old baby, getting luggage & buggy etc, up to our rooms required some effort. My parents are in their 70's so my husband had to make several trips up/down the stairs as there was no-one at hand to assist him. Had we realized there wasn't a lift we would have requested a ground floor room for easier access.

Lovely staff; Clean room; Comfortable beds; Staff helped us arrange for babysitting one evening. Would have been nice if there was a lift as our bags were heavy. We extended our stay a 3rd night, but couldn't get the same rate as the first 2 nights that we booked through bookings.com.

Bar food The music at night made the floor in my room vibrate it was that loud, this continued until 1a.M. Person at reception said we should have been told at check in but we were not advised!! At 9 mths pregnant this is not acceptable. Iron did not work & dvd player was the other side of the room- not connected to the T.V.. not 4 star hotel by any means!!

Staff very pleasant. Rooms .large and comfortable and a dinner we had there was very good across a range of choices The breakfasts were very poor. I have never seen such a sorry excuse for bacon or sausage or scrambled eggs for a long time - and this in Ireland the home of the famous Irish breakfast.

The room was of a high standard and very quiet (really terrible view of a parking lot). Dinner was really good value and of a high quality. My daughter was tired so the waitress delivered our deserts to our room which was very thoughtful of her. The leisure facilities were excellent. Breakfast was good but expensive as it was priced separately but probably no more than other hotels. Overall a good standard hotel which is what I expected from the website. The checkout experience was not good. I was on a tight schedule to checkout at 09.00 but there was no one receptionist at the desk. I asked a Breakfast Waiter to find the receptionist who arrived after 10 mins, smiled at me and the rest of the queue, and promptly answered the phone for a further few minutes. Not impressed.

This is a lovely old hotel. We stayed in the Cherry suite for 20euro extra per night. It was well worth it.The room is lovely and spacious. The food was very nice. All the staff are very nice and helpful.Galway city is only about 10min drive from Oranmore. We will stay here again when going to Galway. There are some good rates to be got at this hotel. We loved this hotel but feel that the front car park could be cleaned up so as not to be stepping out of your car onto alot of mud

Generally very good. Bedroom could have had heating on on arrival and in the mornings. At breakfast, Tea was in Coffee pots and Coffee in Tea pots on both days! But food was excellent. Enjoyable few days. Just on the Decor....a touch run down. Im sure this will be attended to when things get better!

A Ryanair style hotel, cheap rooms, but everything else is an extra. Big rooms, nice beds, big bathroom. Nice room, good and comfortable. Paid €29.50 for a double room, worth it! Do not book this hotel should you need to use the internet, there is a surcharge of €9 per day. The connection once purchased is poor.

A friendly family atmosphere, staff very friendly, I had a hot stone massage and the lady in the spa was extremely nice and excellent value for money there Not a very luxurious hotel, very basic, had to ask for a shower cap for the room no small little extras. Bedlinen clean but just plain white, not much atmosphere in the room. My daughter is 12 and was disappointed a lot of chlorine in the pool her eyes were very red after couple days in the pool

Part of the Select Hotel Group which we liked a lot. The food and bar service staff was excellent and we met the friendly owner. Parking lot was muddy and standing water to walk through. Didn't like the hard pillows. Also didn't like the bathroom sink single temperature handles. Need blending ones to keep for burning yourself on the hot.
