Oranmore Lodge Hotel Conference And Leisure Centre Galway

The bed was soooo comfy, and liked that there was 2 double beds in the room. We did not eat or drink in the hotel, as on a diet. So cannot comment on that side of it. But overall good value for money and got what we needed.

Points to improve maybe......The hotel looked a bit dated, and the pool, I must be honest looked terrible. Very old, and small, and very open not very private. The possission of the mirror in the bathroom was quite difficult to see into when doing make up etc. There was some noisy children running up and down the halls late at night (11pm).But apart from that everything else ok.

clean, quiet and good facilities. Meals were fair value and room was roomy and comfortable

It was relaxing. Children loved pool. They could not believe how warm water was in spite of poor weather!

Thought it was expensive for recessionary times. Paid 280 euro just for room for 2 nights. Had no food , not even breakfast there as a result!Only bad point!!!!

used the pool and health suites. the bar and the restaurant. really enjoyed our stay here. staff really helpful and hotel and easy stay. we had 3 children so it was perfect.

Staff rude - 15-20 mins to check out Rooms very basic (eg threadbare towels)

Convienient hotel that provided all we needed for a weekend. Pool/spa was an added bonus.

Leisure centre pleasant and breakfast very nice. Staff pleasant

No other facilities for children ie tv room, games etc.

We went for a family weekend. The hotel was very good value for 6 of us. The rooms were spacoius and clean. The hotel is within walking distance of the town so we left the car and walked to town.

The dining area for breakfast was a little cramped. There was not a great selection of fresh food for breakfast. ie Bread, Fruit, Yogurt or milk was not chilled. As a result breakfast was the only meal we had there.

The weather was beautiful and the views were amazing. We felt the staff was courteous and helpful. The common room was very comfortable. The room was quiet and comfortable

The Oranmore Lodge is rated as a 4 star hotel, however it is definately not 4 star standard by any means, the room decor was very old fashioned and unwelcoming, and did not feel very clean, the glasses in the bathroom were not cleaned properly. The bed was very small as a double bed.

I thought the room was very comfortable and large,also bed was comfortable enjoyed my meal on the saturday night.a goog effort was made to make the hotel look well for valentines night.

Did not think the room was cleaned very well after our first night.ie bed poorly made crumbs left on table and floor not properly hovered.Area for breakfast felt very cramped.Room was exteremly hot when we arrived on friday afternoon
