I absolutely love this hotel. It's got the nicest pool I've ever been in (with lovely jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room!) and a wonderful spa with heated loungers to relax in while you wait for your treatment. The staff without exception were friendly, welcoming and helpful at all times. I particularly liked receiving a weather forecast and biscuit every evening, and making use of the well-stocked tea tray in the room! I have nothing I could possibly fault!

It was convenient, quiet and comfortable. One of the reception desk people seemed a little humorless but over time she seemed to relax a little. The sink tap had a tendency to spray all over the front of your clothes which wasn't very useful as I was getting ready for a wedding in the room the day I was booked in.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Bar food excellent and nice atmosphere in same. 70 euro for a single room a bit steep, I would prefer if the single rate was lower.

It has benn a few years since I last stayed here but the hotel still remains clean, modern and stlish with helpful staff and good value for money. My only complaint was that the food was below average..Both the evening meal.. I had the burger and the breakfast was average.. But I find that most buffet breakfasts in hotels are pretty much the same.

I was working, under pressure, arriving late. My room was comfortable and my early morning swim in the fine big pool sharpened my appetite for an excellent breakfast.

Reception staff were excellent. The dinner we had with the Kelly family following their son's funeral was of an excellent standard. Thank you. There was a slight dampness smell in our room and the seal on the base of the shower screen had fallen apart a long time ago.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff, good location and easily accessed, good for our onward trip to Killarney for the Irish Open, rooms nice, clean with everything you need. Nice ouside seating area and front to hotel. Quiet and good location but yet close to village. Would reccommend the hotel. Food manager was somewhat abrupt at having to take food order at 9.55pm (understandable!) as we were late arrivals, bar area has very strong smell of fish/cooking (I noticed this on a previous visit also).

“We were absolutely delighted with this guest house. Great value for money with big, really clean rooms. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and accomodating. Location is perfect, across the road from UCC and just a short walk from the city centre. Parking facilites at rear or building. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everybody travelling to Cork.” Siobhan, Galway |
