it was very convenient for us as it was ten minutes to my daughters. I would stay there again. facilities were excellent with fittness room pool and spa. They did not apear to have a dinning room. Bar food was available. We took room service which was the same as bar food. The food itself was good, and not overpriced. Breakfast was served in the Bar. |

I found the Staff incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they did verything in their power to make our stay enjoyable. I would certainly recommend the Oriel Houe Hotel, in fact i would say that probably the Staff were the best of any hotel I've stayed in. |

We were attending a family wedding and the staff were excellent, very attentive. Very large bedrooms and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served in the bar with three large TV screens, which were on at 9am!. Self service breakfast, which despite best efforts to keep warm, is always cold. This I found to be very disapointing as the rest of the hotel was excellent - pity |

It is one of the besy hotels I have ever stayed at, from the moment I arrived it was a very pleasent experience, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and the attention to detail is second to none, in particular I was very impressed with the "bed turn down service & cookies" which are brought to your room. |

The hotel is in a lovely setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Food was good and genarally a good experience. The toilet in our room did not work. The staff kindly moved us to another room without hesitation. However the Television in the second room did not work. Did not mention it as we didn't want to sound like grumpy old men. |

The Swimming Pool was excellent and very suited to children. The staff were very friendly, even though we found our room not quite what we were expecting. They seemed to try hard to accomodate our special needs. It appeared to me to be operating with a reduced staffing level (probably understandable in the current economic climate). We had one evening dinner in the main restaurant and a few errors were made with our order, and service was quite slow. However, other guests we spoke to did not appear to have the same problems, so maybe we were just unfortunate. |

My husband and I attended a wedding on July 10th. It was raining when we arrived and a member of staff saw me safely to the foyer under the protection of an umbrella. My friends and I wanted a bottle of champagne to celebrate, this was no problem and was delivered promptly in an ice bucket with 4 glasses. We all found the food to be superbe even though the staff had 300 plus guests to accomodate. The brides sister didn't make the wedding as she was in hospital in labour ,unprompted the manager issued a voucer for her and her partner to come and have a meal on them when she felt up to it. This I found to be a lovely thought and one that will not be forgotten. All in all we loved every minute of our stay. |

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms(ours at least) were very tidy, comfortable and modern. We didn't get a chance to check out the facilities available though. Lack of somewhere to go walking in the hotel grounds(especially after a full meal(which was gorgeous by the way)) but, we were there for a wedding and know cork and ballincollig quite well so never left the premises. |

The hotel is brandnew and luxurious. It's in a great location, Ballincollig is a pretty little village, offering loads of shopping. The hotel facilities are fab, the restaurant has lovely food and I loved the gym and pool. Unfortunately I did not manage to use the spa treatments. The beds are just the most comfortable ones ever. Staff was very helpful and friendly too. It is superb value for... |
