“Found the B&B to be most comfortable, with Peter a welcoming and hospitable host. Both my wife and I have travelled from Australia, through Europe and it was lovely to stay in a home and feel comfortable and relaxed. The conservatory for breakfast was great with two beautiful champion retrievers waiting at the door for a pat.”

Orley House was a very nice place to stay and my family and I were made to feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was the wonderful breakfast in the lovely sun room. The beds were also very comfortable and the rooms had everything we needed. The shower was a little difficult to operate but was probably due to the fact that we weren't used to the system they had in place.

Very nice and cosy place. The owners are very nice people and created guest house that is more like a small hotel. Very clean place and few choices for breakfast. Location is good as you don't have to drive trough Drogheda city centre. You really feel you've been taken care of. Recommended.

Friendly, homely, quiet, comfortable, the whole atmosphere was welcoming from the moment the front door opened and Peter put his hand out to shake ours telling us his name and asking us how our journey was. We had a lovely chat with Peter, he made us feel so at home he's such an interesting man. Everything we could possible need was on hand plus lovely fresh muffins in our room with plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar, fresh bottled water, wine glasses. Nothing was done sparingly. The generosity of the couple running the guest house was obvious. Our beds were beautifully dressed and so comfortable. Lots and lots of soap, shower gel, shower cap, flannels, plenty of towels snow white crisp and fresh robes. Nothing was left to chance. All we needed was a tooth brush and toothpaste. Great food and plenty of choice, lovely Christmas atmosphere with Bing Crosby gently singing in the background of the dining room. Will be back. Thanks Peter. The Kelly's

A first class stay ,welcome was very warm and friendly lots of information provided and also host was eager to help and had lots of local knowledge. Wonderful smell of baked brown bread on arrival. The room was cosy & warm, had a great night sleep in a very comfortable bed in a beautiful room with all white linen. Everything was very clean and presented to perfection. Beautiful ensuite with dressing gowns & toiletries everything you would need. Also complimentary tray had sinny latte and a white choc & blueberry muffin, even got the recipe it was Yum Yum. Even had free wifi in my room , they also have use of a laptop in the hall room for public use, everybodys needs are taken care of. Breakfast was delicious served in a beautiful comservatory, excellent breakfast menu & excellent home baked bread brown. I would highly recommend Orley House and well done for providing a first class service, with the personal friendly touch. No promlem with credit card payment , I gave 5 euro extra as I felt they deserved it for the service they provided.

I would reccommend Orley House to family and freinds, the hosts were friendley and more than willing to accomodate any request. And most important they had a guest computer my teenage daughter could use to recharge her ipod and keep up with friends at home. Breakfast was wonderful and made to order!

It was not an hotel but that was my mistake on booking. It was a bed and breakfast. The room was not as spacious as the facility description, particularly the bathroom. It did not provide the bathrobe as described in the facility description. It could not take a cheque or credit card payment on the day. Neither could it issue a receipt for the cash payment on the day.

Orley house was a quiet and convenient location for us. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. The breakfast was excellent with good portions and as much tea and coffee as you want, the wheaten scones were excellent. All in all a good/excellent experience. Only small thing was the heating was not on in our room and my wife was a bit cold, but in fairness it wasn't a particularly cold night.

The conservatory for breakfast was great with two beautiful champion retrievers waiting at the door for a pat. Would recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable, quiet and homely environment in suburban Drogheda - close to Dublin airport and town centre. Will return next this time next year to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Orley House, everything was perfect. We were were welcomed by Peter & Mary on our arrival . We had a beautiful ground floor ensuite room over looking the garden , it was very peaceful, the room was very clean & comfortable & spacious & modern in design and well presented as you would expect of a 4 star premises. We also had wifi in our room and also there was also a laptop for the use of the guests with internet. The room had everthing we required, the Lavender was a nice touch. A reservation was also made for dinner in the Black Bull which is just across the road which was wonderful to be able walk to a restaurant and enjoy a pint of the black stuff, food was great and so was the atmosphere. Breakfast is served in an amazing huge conservatory and breakfast was the best in Ireland , great choice with the breakfast menu and buffet and brown scones to die for. I just loved the omelletes and my wife loved the pancakes We stayed an extra 3 days and saw the Skerries Mill & Windmills, Argillan House & Gardens,Malahide Castle,Drogheda ,Newgrange, Hill of Tara, Trim Castle,Battle of the Boyne, beaches & shopping. We did a day trip to Dublin by train it only took 23 mins, & day trip to Carlingford & Mountains Of Mourne so much to see in this area and Orley House was a perfect base and it took just 25 mins to the airport. We cant wait to return best stay of our whole trip. Well done Orley House a business with a heart not just a place to stay. We enjoyed everything, it was a pleasure to stay at Orley House. Peter & Mary are great hosts and will look after you very well. Thank you again for making our holiday in Ireland so special.

“Outstanding service & perfect location” From arrival to departure my stay was excellent and one to remember. Orley House is situated just offf the main Dublin Road and is nestled in the estate of Bryanstown which is very quiet & peaceful and perfect for a good nights sleep. Orley House was the best of all the B&Bs we stayed in Ireland from service to helpfulness and advise and they also made a reservation at the local restautant the Black Bull which you can wallk to, dinner was fab and great value . My bedroom was spacious and very clean with lovely white linen and duvet and beautifully decorated and lovely pillows and very clean and over looked the garden which was full of roses and flowers in bloom. The ensuite had a great shower and plenty of hot water, toiletries were provided and even facecloths and dressing gowns, such a treat to have all your needs attended to. There was also complimentry tea/coffee and hot choc in the room with some home made cookies that were delicious. Breakfast is served in their wonderful huge conservatory , with a buffet of freshly chopped fruit, fresh juices and cerals and yogurts , you have a choice from their breakfast menu , I had the full irish breakfast served with homemade brown scones and toast & large pot of fresh decaf coffee it was delicious and filled me up for the day. We will return to Orley House as it was a pleasure to stay and to be treated so well in a very well run B&B by people that enjoy looking after their guests Nothing everything was perfect

The B&B was clean, fresh and reasonably priced. It made me think, why do I stay in over priced hotels when there's quality B&Bs like this available? Miss the bar? Well the excellent Black Bull Inn is just round the corner with excellent food and great Irish craic.
