Enjoyed Ned Keenan bar- nice atmosphere & good price. Manager was very polite. Unfortunately there was a young child on a bicycle all night banging into furniture & in the smoking area- unsupervised.
Abrupt reception staff.
staff where very unhelpful, too small double room.,too noisey from the road , spend a lot of money and no breakfast, very old furniture and very old small tv and its high from the floor almost 3 metter like u watching tv on the ceiling,i will never recommend and even pass that hotel thank you
Location Warm welcome Friendly and helpful staff
Noisy neighbours unfortunately my sister didn't get much sleep, luckily I had a few drinks earlier otherwise i probably wouldn't have slept either, obviously not the hotels fault
Stayed one night to get the ferry. It was comfortable, in a central location and the staff were friendly.
Good location good bar
Location was excellent, hotel was clean and the reception staff were nice
It sounded like a herd of elephants were running around above our room between 10pm and around 2am and then again between 7am and 9am - this made it VERY difficult to get a decent night's sleep as we were kept up late and woken up early every one of our 4 nights stay - reception did nothing. The cleaning staff were also extremely rude when we were still in our room when they wanted to clean, it was unnecessary as we said it was fine to leave it for the day. These factors mean we wouldn't recommend this hotel as it made our time at the hotel not enjoyable and meant we were very tired for the duration of our stay in Dublin.
location, staff, cleaning room every day, not so expensive, great bar downstairs :)
shower was poor, room was very small, few days is ok to stay, week maybe too much.
Room facing the street to noisy
Nice big rooms...good service & top position close to centre of town. Airlink bus at doorstep
Not a great area to be in but ok
Location was nice quiet room facing a courtyard
no hook or towel bar in the bathroom maintenance workers were in our room when we arrived.
Location and price both very good
Front desk staff were quite lifeless
can't think of anything to like, would never book it again
room in a building out the back. curtains dirty and torn. carpet dirty. staff couldn't understand. no local staff and their clothes were dirty. restaurant unhygenic. noise all night from seagulls stealing from unemptied bins.
Clean and functional. Good shower with plenty of hot water. A short walk from anything you'd want to see in Dublin and the bus stops for those things a bit further out
the guy on the front desk when we got there wasn't overly interested and the handle had been broken off the window in the room making it difficult to shut.
Location was great, staff were friendly.
Problem with having consistent hot water in the shower.
Although there has been made a small progress with shower sink sice my last staying there, shower sink still does not work perfectly. Otherwise a problem with poor choice of TV channels persists. There are NO movie channels on offer of Maple Hotel which is a big pity.Irish TV is not interesting and other channels are also boring. It would not be a big problem to install Sky movies for guests.A hotel would get some discount or good offer,I reckon.
Decent location, near a stip of similar properties. A bit worn-looking decor, slightly cramped room, but pretty much what we expected for the price. Nice staff
The location is perfect, most major sights are within a short walking distance. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, also they have the best pub in Dublin. You're garantied a good time at the Maple :)
Location was only 5 minute walk from main shops and temple bar area...breakfast good....staff very friendly and helpful
Great location. Problem with shower was fixed right away.
Very central Good pubs nearby
Quite expensive No elevator
Location and helpful staff.
Shower tray in the room very smooth, I had trouble standing when wet.
Too noisy and could not sleep very well
- friendly and helpful staff - location just few minutes walk from the O´Connel str. - air link stops right in front of the hotel
Close to town
The location was good, about 10 minutes walk from the Temple Bar area and close to public transportation. There was always somebody in reception and they seemed friendly.
We asked for a quite room and probably got the most top and quite they had - on the 3rd floor (they have no elevator but we didn't care). However, the window was not isolated and faced the road, so it was not that quite after all. The water pressure in the shower could be better, especially combined with hot water. It also could be cleaner, and the pillows were not good. In general we assume that value for money in Dublin is somewhat different, and all accommodations are more expensive than in other cities. Compared to the prices of the other options, we did not expect much more.
