Me and my partner stayed here, and it was a fabulous stay... staff lovey, room lovely, location EXCELLENT We will deffo be back!!
The staff very helpful and friendly live music over our weekend stay smoking facility price of drinks for Dublin clean rooms
Easy walking distance of city centre. Good value for the price and location. Hotel bar open late and Chris a great host with some good music choices.
Car parking was difficult as busy street and long way to walk to car park. Not ideal for disabled guests as no lifts. Shower could've been hotter.
Very small room
Loved the location, great value for money, staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and modern, everything you could ask for for the price, would definitely stay again.
There wasn't anything, the shower wasn't very hot bit apart from that everything was great.
Close to the city center. Very clean.
Banging of doors at night, I suggested signs be put up so people will be aware and not annoy others
Very good location, polite people
Cars at night in some rooms, other rooms were quiet
Excellent location. Nice & central. Very close to station, tram, Dart (electric railway) & airport bus services. Staff very very helpful.
Nothing negative to say.
Great location, clean room
Everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Location was great.
good breakfast, staff very helpful location excellent
The hotel was very easy to get to by the airport link bus as the bus stopped exactly opposite! On arrival the young man on reception was very friendly and had the room ready for check in even though we were over 2 hours early. Hotel is very close to o'connel street- 5 min walk. And 15 min walk to temple bar area. Very good for the money- we didn't really hang out in the hotel- literally payed for somewhere to sleep.
There is no lift and we were on the top floor- 4 flights of stairs to climb when you've had a few too many isn't easy! Stairwell and lobby had an overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke. The staircase and hand rail were quite creaky and needed proper repairing. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with children- as it didn't feel secure at all! Beds were made but the sheets were not replaced during 5 days of staying there. The shower was extremely loud and very hot! Sounded like it was gonna blow up! The complimentary shower caps had obviously been there a while as there was dust on and around them. All in all, for a budget hotel in very close walking distance from all major attractions- was not bad all in all. The hotel and rooms could just do with a bit of a refurbishment.
The Maple is in a good location. There are a few pubs and grocery stores near by. The airlink bus stops right in front of the Maple. Easy walking distance to all the main dowtown sites.
The hotel is a little noisy and I think a little over priced.
Clean The woman was very kind and friendly WIFI in the room Near city center
the man at night wasn´t very kind. the smelling of smoking in the hall. there is no lift We had to wait the man for helping us with the luggage because we were in the 3rd floor. He was smoking and talking with his mobile phone meanwhile we were waiting.
Location was great
Comfortable bed in a quiet room
Filthy carpet with crumbs still on it
Red & white decor
Noisy people upstairs, accessibility of our room in adjoining building, needing to walk outside and down a alley exposed to weather, no obvious safe exit. Draw curtains to view a wall only inches away. Hem hanging down on curtains. No luggage storage area. Door almost impossible to open even when not in a hurry.
The hotel was disgusting. The floor boards creaked, the beds had plastic sheets on them, there were bugs in our room, everything was dirty. Definitely would never stay here again.
Location, easy walk into town
Room was small as was the bed, window barely opened, room was warm. Handles on the door, toilet and bath rail almost falling off. This place needs an upgrade.
Location Friendly staff Excellent value
Very small room for two people Unsecured outer door right outside our room.
We went on a three night trip and chose the Maple Hotel. We got what we asked for and for a cheap price. Large room and very clean. I can recommend it!
A little further from city center than I like but no problem to walk. As we already knew the location we saw no problem with it.
Enjoyed Ned Keenan bar- nice atmosphere & good price. Manager was very polite. Unfortunately there was a young child on a bicycle all night banging into furniture & in the smoking area- unsupervised.
Abrupt reception staff.
Thin walls Door didn't lock well Wi-Fi got disconnected all the time Cigarettes smoke in the room all the time (room window above the entrance) Small shower Mould on the ceiling in the bathroom Pillows and bed were not comfortable at all Strange contract (about agreeing to be charged even after leaving the hotel) you have to sign of which you are not notified before check-in No elevator with rooms on third floor
staff where very unhelpful, too small double room.,too noisey from the road , spend a lot of money and no breakfast, very old furniture and very old small tv and its high from the floor almost 3 metter like u watching tv on the ceiling,i will never recommend and even pass that hotel thank you
Bedroom small, no chair, no room for suitcases Toilet seat would not stay up (not good for males) Shower tiny and not suitable for 6'4" people, bathroom mirror light did not work so shaving difficult. No normal soap available Creaking floors and the slamming door outside did not aid sleeping
