Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport  

Proximity to Shannon Airport! We arrived at Shannon and didn't realise that the hotel was so close we could walk across the car park to the hotel. The bar had stopped serving food as it was about 10.15 pm but the lady on duty couldn't have been more helpful!! They offered us a slimmed down menu and it arrived very quickly!! Fantastic service! Thank you!! Our children especially were very grateful.

The bathroom in the family room was very dated.

It's a great place to stay for your first night in Ireland because you don't have to drive a car (on the left, remember) after being awake for 28 hours. Also, the seafood chowder is terrific.

best airport hotel ever.....it is literally a stones throw from Shannon airport, the family rooms have 3 beds !! internet is free , free parking, no hassle, clean......you are <100 m from the airport and 300 m from rental returns

Location. Staff was very helpful

Food. Possibly the worst hamburgers we've ever had. Strange tasting meat with shredded onions inside. Terrible. A sign pointing to vending machine. No vending machine. Staff says it's in basement; no signage. Baggage weigh scale non-functional; lost a Euro. Front doors are NOT user friendly. Very restrictive and difficult to get through with luggage.

Location beside airport, clean, tidy room. Polite, pleasant staff.

Booked a double room - given a twin, I couldn't be bothered to change the room once in so did not comment.

Proximity to the airport was excellent. We were able to return our rental car and walk to the terminal the morning we departed.

An airport hotel which, basically, did the business - five minutes' walk from the terminal can't be bad. An adequate room with a good breakfast. There's no competition at Shannon so one might have expected inflated prices, but not so. The bar (no restaurant, except for breakfast) serves hot food until 10.00 pm, which suited us as we landed just before 9.00 pm.

The Park Inn by Radisson was comfortable, economical, and very hospitable! The staff was extremely cordial, both at the front desk and in Blair's Bar where we had our dinner. In fact, I cannot say enough about the staff! From the moment we checked in, the woman at the front desk was so friendly, and kind that she 'immediately' helped to make us feel good about being there, The food was good, and again everything was clean! I selected the hotel for it's location to Shannon Airport, and the economy / budget friendly pricing! By staying here we were able to drop off our rental car the afternoon before our early morning departure the next day! Again, the front desk gal (sorry I do not recall her name here) explained how to get there and then back). She really made our stay very inviting! I would definitely come back to this hotel, but I would like to try a higher priced room!

Although the hotel was clean and friendly, it was definitely the feel of an 'economy' type stay! The beds were hard, the pillows were hard, but again, after spending a week in Ireland, I did chose a budget friendly booking. One 'little' problem in our stay was that the bathroom floor 'puddled' and stayed wet after an evening shower. It was not an emergency and we were on a very early flight in the morning when we left so I didn't get to explain it to anyone that day! Knowing I could explain it via this review, I felt it was worth noting! Again, all considered, it was an OK visit! I am sure that the higher priced rooms were much more 'sleep' friendly and without puddling shower floors! Thanks for the chance to write this review!

Filthy , old, bed uncomfortable ,the dirt rolled off the door of the bathroom door with the steam from shower when we were able to get hot water for a few mins it was embarrassing as we spoke to a couple of Americans from another room and they said they were appalled

Rooms are becoming a little faded. Lack of security when windows are opened.(and they need to be opened as rooms cam be warm) Would like a light blanket or two in room as the duvet can get too warm.

My husband and I have stayed here before and have recommended it to several people.It is extremely convenient for early morning travellers. The staff are friendly and very helpful. No rush, just a quiet, relaxing place. There is no panick/concern about "getting there on time" on the morning of the flight.

Lobby and Bar area clean and appeared more upscale

Room was non smoking but had strong smoke odor. Bathroom toilet clogged after each use and would no tflush without removing bacl lid and tinkering with plumbing. Tub was dirty, caulking cracked and discolored. Found multiple human hairs on bedding. We slept in our clothing and couldn't wait for night to end. Overall room smelled foul. Worst accomidations I ever stayed in. We traveled all over Ireland even staying in Hostels and this was the pits!

it was very close to the airport, just a 2 min walk across the parking lot. The staff in the restaurant and the folks that helped us with our bags at check in were nice. We liked that we could get a room that slept 4 people.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The pillows were very old and lacked stuffing. The steam room either didn't work or wasn't turned on when I requested it. The gym was pretty sparse. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold on it from poor ventilation.

consider a visible thermostat to turn down the heat at night. Had to have the window open to keep cool. Or give some instruction on managing the heat.
