The staff at the front desk were anything but helpful, after arriving from a three hour trip with a small child the least you can expect is a smile. The same sour face greeted us when we went to ask for dinner and she told us no food was being served until half six. No apologies made, no suggestion, just a quick return back to her conversation with another member of staff, which she made clear we were obviously interrupting. Again the next morning, we had to pay for breakfast (no problem, as it was not included in the rate) but we had to wait to pay for it and when she finally came out (same staff member), we were greeted with "are ye looking for something?" And then not a thanks in sight. Other than that we had to change rooms because the heating or phone wasn't working in the room, (found this out after receptionist hung up on me twice). The manager that helped us with this was nice and very helpful. He was the duty manager on call that night. Im total we saw three staff members our whole trip. Food good and room lovely, just a pity about the very unfriendly receptionist, will not be staying there again.

We stayed here as we were attending a party in the hotel. We got a really nice room it was huge. It was very clean and comfortable. If we stay here again I will be requesting the same room. Also the girls on reception on check in and check out where really nice. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.. Except the breakfast service was quite bad I felt like I was being rushed around. The breakfast staff where not friendly at all I wanted some toast and I was told someone would bring it down to the table but I was left waiting for 10 mins I got fed up and went to make it myself like I was going to in the first place. Also my friend wanted to order coffee from the waitress she was standing right next to him and he had to call her atleast 4 times until she acknowledged him. Other than that everything was perfect and all the other staff are lovely.

Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Receptionist couldn't find our booking for about 5 minutes when we first arrived, even though I produced a print out of the booking. Level of noise coming under the door in the bedroom during the night was ridiculous - could hear people's conversations word for word until approx. 5Am. It was New Years Eve so obviously noise on the corridor would be expected, but wouldn't expect it to be as audible. Light coming in from the rather large gap under the door meant the room wasn't dark either. With the lights on though, lighting was very poor. Only dimly lit by lights around the wall, no central light. There was a smell in the bathroom when we got there and stains on the window ledge and surrounding wall. The restaurant was closed on the night of our stay, but we hadn't been informed of this at the time of booking, or by email any stage before we arrived. We checked in at approx 7.30pm, so it would be difficult to first of all find somewhere else to eat in the locality, and then to arrange transport there and back at such short notice. We were told food would be served in the Bar till 10pm, but when we went down at 9pm we were told they'd stopped serving, but after complaining we were allowed to order. Menu was really just snacks though, not dinner.

It was a well designed and clean hotel. The staff were not the friendliest and also forgot about our dinner we ordered we had to wait a good 45minutes for it and also received no apology for their mistake. In the end we didn't finish our dinner as it wasnt great and mine fajitas were burnt. After sayin this to the staff member we did not receive an apology or a replacement or anything. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and if I did I would hope that their staff received an attitude adjustment in the mean time.

The food was very poor (New Years Eve Night). The noise level at around 3 am was very loud. Party in next room with high volumn of music. Kept the children awake. The hotel quite good and would visit again but not on New Years Eve.

Friendly atmosphere, near large shopping centre. Location. Restaurant service on the second night was unacceptable... Another function in the hotel took preference over our smaller party of 38 people, which spoiled our weekend family reunion quite a bit... We were given a price reduction on the meal but we would have happily gone elsewhere and paid full price for a hot meal served on time... We were in the restaurant for three and a half hours.

Near large shopping centre. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast buffet excellent. Very dissapointed with the service at dinner .only one waitress serving our party of 36 people. Food was very slow to come to the table and it was almost cold.... It was due to a large function in another part of the hotel. This was not our problem, we should have been told earlier that they were over booked and under staffed so that we could have made other arrangements. This was our annual family reunion two night stay, but was somewhat spoild.

Staff were friendly the food was good even tho there were 270 people to be fed. The rooms were spacious and clean and there was over a lovely athmosphere. Even in the residents bar afterword there was no pressure on getting rid of the punters once your money was made plus the lie on till 2pm the next day was lovely

I was there for a dancing competition and I found the staff the most friendliest of people they could not do enough for you . The hotel is spotless even though there was about 500 dancers hanging about it all weekend.
