very good hotel comfort ,service and location.
nice place when you find it
the location is difficult to find even with a sat nav...1
Loved the iced water machines. Spacious comfortable room. Lovely breakfast and bar meal. Friendly, helpful staff.
The price online, cheaper than some Dublin b+b.Impressive building& grounds. Plenty parking .Pleasant reception staff. Quiet in room.
A walk in shower less powerful than my kids water pistol, and same flow rate. Shabby attention to detail everywhere. Aircon inop.tv remote inop. Rock hard bed, nasty obvious stain on chair, bathroom needed trim attached. pricey food poorly presented on wooden planks. dirty noisy bar. More 2* with delusions.
Cleanliness of rooms Reception Staff were poor Bar staff didn't know their drinks Air con didn't work
Everything; staff are amazing, location is good, bar if good craic, food is good!
The mattresses in our room were different heights however staff were informed of same at checkout and stated that hey would rectify thos!
Bus outside the door is great, the Carlton is a quiet place, staff doesnt bother you but are there if you need them.good breakfast good bar,
They forgot to leave tea bags and milk three days in a row wich is annoying when you love tea and have to go out to the shop late.
Very courteous staff on check in. Lovely lobby.
Furniture in the room looked a bit tatty, maybe time to refresh the rooms. Unfortunately a lot of traffic noise from the main road outside, not a very good nights sleep.
Price Room in general
No room service Heat in room was unbearable in the morning Noise
bathroom was very clean
we stayed in room 217. Furniture was marked and chair was stained. Very noisy room. No sound proofing at all. Heard neighbouring guests through the night. We booked a superior room and it was far from superior.
Very good parking
TV didn't work (fixed later) Very expensive bar 6.75 for a pint. Poor breakfast, cold coffee and very stale danish. I wouldn't say the staff are rude but barely utter a word and a smile?
Lovely hotel ,,,great staff , great food , great location
I like it but disappointed to location
Nice comfy bed, cosy rooms, clean bathroom, shower was WOW! power shower! bus stop right outside hotel. direct access to city centre (30 mins). Staff were polite and friendly.

A bit isolated in its location
The hotel was good value and the restaurant had good menu selection. Will go back here again next time I go to Dublin.
The hotel is beautiful, the food is the best I've tasted in a long time (a bit expensive but worth every cent) and the rooms are nicely decorated
The walls are paper thin, I woke in the middle of the night thinking someone was moving furniture in our room... But it was the couple next door!! I could even hear their phone vibrating!!! Also the Pillows are wicked flat!
Couldn't sleep because the room was much too warm.
We requested a non smoking room but were put in a smoking room.
Great location, brilliant craic in the hotel bar, rooms are really comfortable and very spacious (junior suite), views from the rooms at the back of the hotel are lovely, quiet enough hotel at night too! The staff are all very friendly and
There's nothing really that I didn't like however in the toom we stayed in the bed was two beds put together and the mattresses were different heights which made it a bit uncomfortable!
Good big spacious room with big comfortable chairs
Furniture & Facilities bitten
no room service menu in room
