It was in the historic district, the airport shuttle drops off and picks up right in front of the hotel, there was an Irish dancing show in the evening and and Irish band. There was a significant amount of mold in the shower.

Location is great. Every time I've stayed, I seem to get landed in the rooms along the front of the hotel which is looking out onto Dame St. The noise is absolutely brutal and the two times I've stayed, the window has been broken and I couldn't close it. No shower gel or hair shampoo. Very dodgy shower where you can't wash your hair unless you actually have a shower.. Not sure if I will stay again to be honest.

Breakfast was fantastic & we got €3 off because we were staying. Staff were so friendly & couldn't help us anymore than they did. We asked for a double room but it was 2 beds put together which was uncomfortable if sleeping in the middle.

The location is good. But that is all. 1. The "double" bed was two singles pushed together. If a double is advertised it should be a double that is available. It wasn't advertised as "double/twin". 2. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore neck and sore back. 3. The heating in the room could not be turned down even though I called reception about it. their answer was turn the knob the other direction. This did nothing to change the temperature. We had to leave the windows open all night because of the heat which meant extra noise in the room resulting in less sleep. 4. The room was too small. 5. The bathroom was tiny. I am an average size and found I had to turn sideways to get in to close the door behind me. There was pieces of the bath/shower floor coming away from the bath and it was very slippy. There should have been a non slip mat or grips on the floor. 6. The hairdryer did not work and the sound on the tv kept coming and going at random times. 7. There was a bag of old food in the lift which smelled bad. 8. The staff weren't helpful upon check out, one person was quite rude. 9. There was an extra charge of ten euro per hour if you wanted a later check out. 10. Overall the price was far too expensive. We will NEVER stay there again and will advise family and friends not to stay there either. What was supposed to be a nice getaway, was a big waste if time and money. I am hugely disappointed.

The location to the theatre and the hotel bar. I would stay in a room at the rear of the hotel the next time. It's way too noisy out the front.

When we arrived they said they'd put our bags in a luggage room but when we returned to checkin and get into our rooms the bags were still in the lobby. Our room have only had luke warm water. The walls are very thin and you can hear any neighbor that talks even a bit loudly. The hallway was very noisy also as several of the doors near ours opened and closed loudly.

Handy for temple bar and city centre as thats where its located. Staff very friendly from reception to bar to waitresses. Hotel is clean and rooms have everything you could need, maybe a wee bit dated but clean and comfortable. would stay there again no problem.
