Rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. Buffet breakfast had a good variety. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. You would need transport to go into the city as it is a bit of a walk with shopping bags. |

The overall appearance of the hotel is welcoming and reception very trendy. Receptionist on arrival and departure was friendly and informative when we asked about eating places/directions etc. Room was a good size for the three of us. As a couple with one older child accompanying us it was excellent to have the offer of an additional bed in the room at no extra cost. Our room was clean and more than satisfactory. Underground carpark was a bonus. The breakfast (buffet style) although copious and of good quality did tend to be on the lukewarm side. One member of our party who returned to the buffet later on did get the expected piping hot food - so perhaps tops had been left open by earlier guests?? The only minor irritation. |

Hotel was fantastic value. The staf were ok although the Receptionist looked bored. Reception staff were the only ones we saw in uniform. Restaurant advertised as closing at 10pm. When we arrived we were told it was only oen until 9pm and we had 5 mins to get checked in. |

Breakfast had various options and food was plentiful & tasty. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful where possible. Room was larger than usual. Despite function room and adjoining pub room was quiet. Secure underground carpark. The first room we were allocated was not up to expected standard: We were promised an upgrade but the 2nd room was of the same standard although with slightly less problems some of which remained unresolved through our stay. On our last night we requested the return of our passports but the safe could not be opened as one of the staff had gone home with the only key. They were finally given to us in the early hours of the next day. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but lack of organisation and communication resulted in unsatisfactory service. A complaint may be made direct to the hoteliers. |
