A superb example of classic 18th century Georgian elegance in the heart of Dublin's Ballsbridge area, this charming townhouse is ideally located just a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Dublin. Pembroke Townhouse has its own unique, welcoming and friendly personality, only found in a privately-run townhouse such as this. It boasts a beautiful Georgian drawing room, exclusive to guests, and a pantry, which you are free to raid for complimentary tea and coffee and Chef Tiago’s homemade cookies. Pembroke Townhouse reflects an informal elegance that embodies the best of traditional Irish hospitality. The aim has been to merge traditional Georgian elegance with contemporary style to create a townhouse with its own individual personality. Pembroke Townhouse is a wonderful place to stay while in Dublin. The view from our room was spectacular and the location perfect - with approx. a 15 minutes walk into the city centre. The staff members were extremely helpful and friendly and the room spotlessly clean and the bathroom ditto. On basic principle it bothered us that we had to pay to use the Internet which ought to simply be part of the service so that guests can book tickets, check weather etc.

The Location is ideal in relation to it's proximity to Aviva; rds and City Center. It's a no frills no fuss facility which on this particular visit to the Capital was ideal. The free secure car parking is a major plus as other hotels in the area have set rate for the same privilege. The Pembroke is ideally located in the event of going to The o2 The rds or The Aviva. The staff are courteous and pleasant to interact with. I found the Pembroke to be easy going and has a relaxed environment and immediately I felt comfortable and in a sence a home from home type atmosphere was evident. The Room was clean and comfortable if in need of some attention to minor paint work and some power points were loose on the wall. Overall a happy and content guest but my partner did point out that staying on the ground floor would not be suitable to ladies as it's access to car park would make a stay uncomfortable. 9/10 Well done to Fiona and her very pleasant team. Can't fault the Pembroke on this particular stay: we will be back.

Location, just a three min. Walk into Ballsbridge where there are a number of decent restaurants and also only a fifteen to twenty min. Walk to Grafton St. Also a number of decent restaurants on the walk into town. Free and secure parking to the rear of the hotel. You can also access the hotel from the rear so very handy for bringing in luggage. Nice breakfast which may seem a little expensive at 15 euro but if you went into a restaurant and ordered everything that is available to you at Pembroke it wouldn't be that much cheaper. Shower (In Bath) in the bathroom was pretty powerful. The bedroom that we had to the rear of the hotel while not over big was nice and quiet at night ensuring a decent nights sleep. There was nothing that we actually disliked about the hotel and at the price that we got on Booking.com we in no way could gripe but if you were paying the full rate you might say that the tv in the room was pretty small. Not an issue for us as we watch very little television when on holidays. No bar in the hotel, again not really an issue as there are plenty within walking distance but it may be important for some travelers.

What I liked most about Pembroke Townhouse was the warmth of the welcome - especially from the charming young Italian gentleman at the reception desk - and the fact that it had free secure parking...a major bonus in central Dublin today. It was spotlessly clean throughout and my room was very comfortable. I slept soundly. Continental Breakfast was delicious and in my opinion very good value at 10 Euro. Fabulous drawing room with free coffee and homemade cookies. What more could one ask for in a B & B? All round, Pembroke Townhouse was a very pleasant experience and I'll definitely be back.

It was well located. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well furnished. We had a split-level room which served our purposes well. I was travelling with my niece and nephew and that room set-up worked well for us. We enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee and cookies brought to our room any time we asked for them. The location in town was also beautiful. It would have been nice to have breakfast included and free wifi.

The Pembroke Townhouse offered just what I expected. The lovely exterior with the Georgian doors was matched by an elegant lobby. The room wasn't quite as big as pictured, but it had a beautiful view and a king-size bed. We particularly appreciated the large bathtub. It's location is in a quiet area, but close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see in Dublin. It was a very short walk to Stephen's Garden, which was blooming with flowers already in early March. One desk clerk provided us with a great recommendation for dinner (The Winding Stair) and was very friendly. Not all clerks were as friendly and she, but at the times we saw them, it didn't matter. We took advantage of the complimentary tea and cookies, but did not eat there. I feel we got good value for our money.

We liked almost Everything about Pembroke Tower House & would recommend anyone to stay with Fiona & her Brilliant team of staff. You got the feeling of a good & happy working environment as everyone was just so willing, helpful & cheery. They were brilliant with advice & information for events & how to get a round & were happy to book tickets/make reservations etc. The building itself was magnificent & relatively easy to find from the bus stop. The room was wonderfully spacious & clean with a second level in the room, which was nice to escape to for a quiet read. There was only 3 minor things for us. The bed was a bit hard for me. Each day the cleaning team replaced the soap which I didn't feel was necessary. And I would have liked a kettle in the room, there was however a larder in reception with tea & coffee making facilities & a tin full of yummy biscuits you could help yourself to anytime, day or night. So it wasn't a hardship.

The friendly staff gave me a very warm welcome even I didn't respect my reservation requirement (I arrive early instead of very late as first said). Nice room in a modern county style, whith comfortable beds. Net morning they served me an excellent irish breakfast at a very reasonble price. Great value for money.

Staff were friendly. My request for a bright room was heeded and that is what I was offered but the receptionist was also nice enough to warn me that it might be noisy (it wasn't excessively so). Breakfast was excellent with lovely scones and a selection of homemade breads and preserves. A nice additional touch was the availability of recipes for some of their home baking. There was also a pleasant sitting area beside the foyer. Late arrival was not a problem, there was plenty of parking, and bus stops for several routes are nearby. Only minor quibbles; the sash window was difficult to open (but when I asked, a staff member ensured that it was opened for me) and the water pressure in the shower was a bit low.

The staff are very friendly, the location is good and there is free parking. I feel the rooms were very dated and the bathrooms very old fashioned. I felt it was expensive for what was on offer. Breakfast was not included and the internet had a charge.

I have stayed at Pembroke House many times and I say again, as I have said several times, the breakfast is excellent, but much too expensive. I am inclined to buy a muffin and make coffee in my room, rather than pay 12.50 - 15.00 euros for breakfast. I can get a lunch or even a dinner for that price in Dublin Center.

It is located in a nice area of Dublin. Very easy to find as we coming up from Waterford and it has secure parking. The rooms are clean and comfortable ideal for a short city break. Staff were pleasant and the lobby sitting room area is very welcoming plus you can help yourself to tea and coffee. To be honest we could,nt fault it

Location and the parking facility did not have breakfast so cannot comment on food etc. Unfortunately there was an oversight re. our room the bin in the bathroom wasn't emptied and was overflowing once opened that evening just off putting...... On returning at eightish that evening got into bed very cold as weather not great n had been walking around all day heating wouldn't come on in the room and then realised there was no tea/coffee facilities and I wasn't getting dressed again to go outside to perhaps get a cup of something at reception n as I had already called the guy re the bin I wasn't going to ask him again to get me a cup of tea. So heating should be available regardless Irish summers. Tea etc facilities in room required n rooms need double checking.
