brilliant value for money, the mezzanine floor gives a bit of privacy to the person who is up there. location is quiet but still close enough to city centre. |

The Hotel is very clean and comfortable and in a good location. I have stayed in the Hotel a number of times and each time i have found the reception staff to be indifferent towards customers and uninterested in their jobs. It is as if it is too much effort to even answer a question. It would make such a difference if one was made to feel welcome. |

rooms were clean and very comfortable. The decoration was lovely and the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits was a good idea although would be nice to have some hot drink facilities in the room. On the first morning we enjoyed lovely home made scones. These were not available on the second morning as they had run out.restaurant service was slow on the second morning and waitress was rude . hot food could be warmer. although when I complained and ordered french toast-it was delicious.so much so my husband ordered it on our second morning but it wasn't as good-cold plate! |

The website shows the hotel as extremely nice and I think I expected more! But it was clean with helpful staff, excellent breakfast and good distance from the town center in a nice area. I booked 3 rms 1 for another couple and one for single occupancy - one couples room was tiny compared to the others. (Although we were moved when we asked for a larger rm). Ask for a decent sized room to begin with! Also one of the rooms had a slight drainage problem – not major but a bit of a smell in the bathroom. Apparently the problem was being fixed but no discount on the rate was made. |

The style of the hotel. The the back of the hotel had been altered to fit in another floor so the windows were not positioned in the centre of the wall in many rooms. |

Our room wasn't ready; were were pointed to another room that was right next to the elevator. Couldn't sleep because of the elevator noise, plus a cigarette smell coming for the vacuum system in the bathroom. The sink was clogged, and the overall room decoration and services were too simple given the price paid (no tea or cookies in the room, tiny tv, internet access was charged extra,...) |

Tastefully designed, well maintained and not a hotel chain. Brilliant location - catch the number 10 bus and 8 minutes to the centre. Peaceful location - not Temple Bar rowdiness. Great ambience. Don't tell your friends - this is a really practical, delightful "home from home" |
