Great breakfast with homemade baking. Great WiFi. Room would benefit from a refresh, but was absolutely clean. Enormous bed! Friendly staff.
Room fittings were a little 'frayed around the edges'. Felt price I paid was little on high side for what is a nice B&B.
Lovely old house, nice walk to mid town. bedroom and bathroom a good size. Had a back bedroom not a good view but very quiet . staff very helpful.
would be good to have a top sheet as dooner does get hot during the night.
The bed was comfy
We could hear people outside the doors late at night
Location - just a short walk from bus stop for 5 min rude into city centre; owner very friendly and professional on arrival; building is beautiful; wifi worked ok and was free; very clean.
Some staff inexperienced and I was surprised not to have the guy thank me for staying and hope I'd return on check out; tiny tiny old fashioned tv; price seems a little on the high side given size of room.
Lovely location within walking distance of the city center Great room in a restored townhouse Front desk was incredibly helpful and there was a nice sitting area in the lobby where we had a drink or two
The pillows could have been a bit better
Rates Too High
Friendly and helpful staff... Great location.... Will come back for sure ..
Room layout, stayed with my two daughters, they slept in a huge double bed, i had a seperate single on a mezzanine level, easy walking along to baggot st and grand canal
Welcoming staff, clean room, minutes from Aircoach bus stop to airport. Free cake in the afternoon was a bonus!
Friendly staff and room for 3 people was great with an mezzanine level.
No fridge in the room.
would have liked kettle in room
Parking included.Location to RDS, great breakfast , friendly and helpful staff. Loved the little touches of the cheese and biscuits/ cakes in the evening, homemade shortbread. We really enjoy staying there
Had to keep logging into wi-fi each time
Great hospitality, always a welcome when returning to hotel.
Having to stay in a smoking room for one night before being changed the next day.
Clean. Friendly efficient staff. Family enjoyed their stay.
Bed was too hard. No tea/coffee facilities in room. TV too small and not enough channels. At the price breakfast should be included.
Everything...fiona and her team were excellent!
Home baking, although not gluten free. But did provide gluten free bread for breakfast
Threadbare carpets. Had to walk sideways to get past bathroom. Was on own luckily room was not big enough for two!!
Loved the staff and the area, everything was really good, the food was great. Will definitely stay again whenever I am in Dublin.
Nothing to dislike about the Pembroke
The location to the RDS was excellent and the staff were very courteous and pleasant. Will be back
Old television in room, no USB connections. Breakfast should be included in room rate. Window leaked when rained, resulting in wet carpet. No tea/coffee facilities in room.
Was a lovely hotel wit nice friendly staff and big rooms. Not luxurious but clean and welcoming, would definitely return.
Location Staff were courteous and helpful Facility was clean and well maintained
The location is great and the lobby area is pleasant. However, as soon as you get to the bedrooms in the upper floor, it is a different story...
Some of the rooms are small and decoration is pretty gloomy. We were given a small claustrophobic room with a very bad quality mattress. I am not particularly picky about where I sleep, but honnestly giving such poor quality mattresses to your customers is really not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel. Value for money is not good for this hotel, I found.
The sitting room downstairs was very comfortable and the tea and coffee facilities there were great. Good place to make contact with other guests
The shower in the bath was very high for a shortish person. I felt a bit nervous getting in and out. Not sure if all bathrooms are the same
Lovely place, small and stylish, close to the RDS. The way you can make friends when you get your tea and coffee is good.
The guy when I checked in was a bit surly and didn't bother to explain that I could help myself to tea and (excellent) home made biscuits. Found this out later when I arrived back late. Everyone else was very friendly and helpful.
