Perryville House  

Laura and Andrew were great hosts. The breakfast each morning was wonderful with scones, breads, fruit, eggs etc. Location overlooking the harbor. Our room enormous with modern bathroom.

Absolute luxury and the deluxe room impressed both my fiancee and i,the bathroom is one of the best i've seen,the room was dear but i have to say we will be having lovely memories of our short stay because of it

Elegant mansion overlooking Kinsale harbor. Close to all the fine restaurants and shopping. Both the public rooms and bedrooms are stylish and comfortable. A memorable gem. Precious free parking just across the street. A fine breakfast with artisan provisions.

Wouldn't change a thing!

The rooms were spacious, inviting, and comfortable, and the house and its owner were welcoming and friendly. The staff at the delicious breakfast each morning were friendly and efficient. The proprietor keeps bees, and each morning there was fresh honeycomb--a special treat. All of the breakfast choices were either homemade dishes, or the menu included mention that the products served were local and from where they were gotten. The towel rack in the bathroom was heated, and there were luxury bath robes. The house overlooks historic Kinsale harbor, and there is much to explore in this resort town in County Cork. Many sights were in walking distance, and the food in the local restaurants, which our host Andrew suggested to us and booked for us, was extremely good. In the mornings, there were fires in the fireplaces in the two downstairs living rooms.

Perryville House is beautifully furnished and has a very restful atmoshpere, our room was clean and bright with a wonderful view overlooking the harbor. Our breakfasts were exceptional and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our host, Andrew was quick to attend to our needs and book our dinner reservations to avoid disappointment as it was a very busy Bank Holiday weekend. TOP MARKS!

Our only concern, and perhaps it was because it was an unusually busy Bank Holiday, was the amount of young people drinking and congregating in the public spaces across from Perryville House. They were all just having a jovial time but many young people were in and around our parked vehicles and when we came out in the morning to leave we noticed that one of our tail lights had been broken. The only thing that would have added to my visit would have been the availability of massage and spa treatments.

Loved the rooms and the proximity to everything

The noise levels were quite high. I could hear people come in after their night's out and hear the conversations they were having in their rooms.

Andrew and Laura are excelent hosts. The Inn is beautiful and elegant, yet extremely comfortable. The breakfast options every morning were outstanding. The best coffee in all of Ireland! It is perfectly located within easy walking to all restaurants and tourist attractions. Can't wait to visit again.

Interior design, friendly staff , location

W loved it. Perryville House is charming--furnished with antiques--near the center of the town of Kinsale. We especially liked the owner Andrew-- his wonderful commentaries--and recommendations. We would highly recommend it. Breakfast was delicious with the best yoghurt in Ireland and homemade jams and jellies.

Andrew, Greg and all staff are exellent. Breakfast great and Andrew always helpful with all requests no matter how silly. Location is great and only 15 mins from Old Head.

A perfect place for comfort in a B&B

Attention to personal needs and service details was as good as it gets without being pretentious. Our room had everything we could have wanted.

Everything we had a really super time the owner was a proper Irish 'mine host' very welcoming and hospitable. All in all a truly lovely stay We will return soon

the location had a great view of the harbor and it was right in town with parking just across from hotel.

I wasn't sure why they had the current key policy and having to ring to get into the hotel was different.

Fun proprietor, help with baggage, help with dinner reservations, great location, awesome breakfasts.

As with most European B&Bs, I find the stairs and the dual sink faidets a challenge.

Everything! It was a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The premises, the staff, and the breakfast were all outstanding...one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! The location of the b&b and Kinsale itself were wonderful for the day trips we took to visit that part of Ireland. The travel and resturant suggestions were great. Andrew and the others were always ready with helpful and witty comments and reccommendations.

We liked the hotel and our room

The luxury and space in the rooms, the supersized bed, super-heated shower room and great views. Very romantic and luxurious. Breakfast was lovely too.

A little bit pricey - stayed because no other rooms available, so this would not be a price I would normally be willing to pay. Also, no tea & coffee making facilities in the room - that was disappointing (hence the dropped point on the facilities rating).

We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated all of Andrew"s help parking the car, toting luggage, changing our golf time, and making dinner reservations, not to mention the humorous exchanges. The dining room was lovely.

No kettle or coffee making facilities in room Promise of scones and tea on arrival was why I booked that particular hotel, no scones or tea materialised though there is a quite expensive tea room attatched to the hotel
