food was excellent. beautiful location. All of the staff bar one were very friendly. bikers staying created too much noise and dreadful language. Room over bar so smell of smoking when we opened our window was terrible.

The food was excellent in the bar . The room was comfortable and warm. The staff in the bar were excellent friendly and very helpful . The noise from the bar ,a noise that sounded like a fan until about half twelve at night . From about seven in the morning the rattle of showers across the roof of our room from what looked liked boxed in pipes. When I told the receptionist on checking out she seemed unconcerned .

The peace and serenity of the hotel @ the location - my partner and I wanted a quiet weekend break in lovely surroundings with good food@drink and that is what we got - very pleased with our stay Could be a little cleaner-(small criticism)

Gale force wind blowing in the bedroom window. No soft comfy seats at all in the lounge hard wooden seats. Decor and sofas in foye old dirty and dated.

The starters were delicious. The location. The service. The staff. The main courses were slightly disappointing. The wine list was too restrictive. The lack of outside shelter or even an ashtray for smokers.
