The shower was good. Breakfast time flexible. Lovely location.
The bed linen old, one pillow pp, no sheet. Food was poor and expensive in the pub. The staff were ok but not too helpful. We booked months in advance yet didn't get the room we expected. Couldn't open the windows properly and draft coming through. Breakfast area was way too hot.
I arrived after restaurant closed, but not a problem, the bar-man made me a pizza to have with my drinks. all staff were friendly and helpful, trying their best to be flexible for cutomers.
Room walls a bit "thin" so sound carries along corridoor. this really didn't matter much,as beds were comfortable, and I was getting up at first light
Convenient & good value. Fantastic view from dining room.
Heating off in bedroom. Rang reception to be told it waz off but could be turned on but some other guests might then complain about it being too warm. I insisted as it was a very cold night in October.
Staff very friendly, nice meals, great view !!
Excellent value for money. Beautifull location. Good food. Fresh decor.
Poor wifi. Rooms a little noisy
This was my first time down in Mullaghmore and I will definitely be coming back and staying in The Pierhead Hotel! Facilities were great! We found no issue with them! The view from our room was breathtaking! I was in total awe of the place from start to finish! We didn't want to leave! We would definitely recommend it to others! There's plenty to see around Mullaghmore and it's history is amazing! I'm in love with this place!
The wifi was a bit slow but that was the only dislike and it's irrelevant!
location and view.
Location, food, roof terrace at night. Wish it had been really stormy !
A very enjoyable stay.great location,friendly staff.excellent breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.
Comfortable Excellent breakfast Friendly staff Location Great view from room*
*Room had great view but Bar noise and music too loud as it was directly below us.
The location and meals
The view of the water and mountains. The breakfast was very nice.
The room was dirty with stains on walls, lamps and tiles, broken sink in bathroom, and a creaky broken bed that was very uncomfortable.
Location and convenience of food . Beautiful patio doors onto a fabulous balcony with terrific views. Lovely are to walk in
Did not like having a disabled bathroom. Beds would need to be a little more comfortable for a longer stay
The staff are always so helpful and try to fulfil any requests made when booking.
It is awkward to have to use your own towels for the swimming pool
Lovely staff! Lovely location!
Had problem with getting into room initially....door not working......but staff were lovely
Staff were very friendly! lovely view whilst eating breakfast the next morning. Bar was lovely also.
Room was a bit on the small side and the tv was tiny also
Asked if we could have room with harbour view which we got even though the hotel was fully booked and we just booked few days before.Lovely bright clean room with clean white bedding and as it was a family room we got was stacks of soft white towels. The shower was best one ever we used in any Hotel.Breakfast was lovely nice array of fresh fruit cereals and hot counter pots of hot fresh coffee to help yourself to and two home type toasters not those big industrial things most hotels use now.We were sorry was just one night was perfect.
The beds where shocking an the staff where unhelpful, an the breakfast was a joke!
Friendly, helpful staff Good views Good food in the restaurant, at reasonable prices
The beautiful location on the ocean's shore, quite and relaxing.
Location, food- great fish
Bed was uncomfortable , too hard.
The bed and bedding
Excellent location Stunning views
We liked the little receptionist Hazel a lot, she was helpful, polite, friendly and knew her job. The Hotel is in a lively spot yet still a good night's sleep was had by all. The girl at the Spa/Pool desk was also very helpful, friendly and intelligent. Breakfast was plentiful and appetising. There is a terrific restaurant nearby.
The Bar Food was not up to the breakfast standard. The music in the bar was not very good. Not the best centre for a touring holiday, being a little bit remote.
Sea veiw from my room very relaxing
