Location, food- great fish
Bed was uncomfortable , too hard.
The bed and bedding
We liked the little receptionist Hazel a lot, she was helpful, polite, friendly and knew her job. The Hotel is in a lively spot yet still a good night's sleep was had by all. The girl at the Spa/Pool desk was also very helpful, friendly and intelligent. Breakfast was plentiful and appetising. There is a terrific restaurant nearby.
The Bar Food was not up to the breakfast standard. The music in the bar was not very good. Not the best centre for a touring holiday, being a little bit remote.
Sea veiw from my room very relaxing
Location was excellent. staff friendly and helpful. Food was good
Hotel a little dated. Could do with being redecorated.
The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was small and very little light. We asked for a different room and the second one was a bit better a bigger window.
Sea view was great . Room warm and homely.Breakfast was very good.We didn't have high tea but the menu was varied and we we diffidently eat there on our next visit .
Nothing to dislike .
There is so much to like at this hotel, situated at Pier I arrived asking for a twin, which I didn't give clear notice of, in my reservation - they had not got a twin available, so accommodated us in 2 separate double rooms at no extra cost They really know about hospitality and making their clients/ visitors feel comfortable and welcome Well Done Pier house hotel
Wi Fi, in my room could be a little slow
lovely hotel in beautiful location excellent food and facilities and friendly and attentive staff.
Asked for a room with a sea view and was arranged after a small wait. It was worth it. Breakfast room was perfect with great views. A lovely room with fabulous breakfast
Bar eating area was a bit shoddy
The location is very good.
Location is beside the water with beautiful view from breakfast dining room. Pier is beside the hotel and beach is a 2 minute walk from the hotel where one can walk for up to 3km. A short drive to Sligo or Donegal.
staff were very friendly
parking facilities were desperate
Location was perfect for my visit to friends-locally.I asked if I could have a Sea View even though I was only there for one night-I got it. Receptionist was most helpful & friendly. Breakfast was First Class and what a view from Dinning Room.Swimming Pool and free Parking also made the experience worthwhile. I'll def be back. Thank You Pier Head !!
I asked for sea view & got it but I had a room with French Window which meant I couldn't leave it open during the night-it opened onto a flat roof BUT, I really can';t complain & I'm not.
The location is fantastic.
The beds are really uncomfortable. You could walk past Repton 10 times without a simple getting from the staff. The room has a budget hotel feel to it but the price isint budget.
