Location and staff both excellent - extremely helpful !

Bed - but staff changed it after first night Shower - not great hot or hotter

The hotel is above a nightclub (not mentioned on the website as far as I could tell), which meant that I was not able to sleep through the loud disco music until well past three in the morning, as my room was on the first floor. We swapped our room for one on the third floor which solved the problem but I really don't believe the hotel should be renting out rooms above a night club. The room windows were broken, and the communal stairs were dirty and not cleaned for 4 days.

Day staff upon arrival in hotel and bar were really nice and went out of their way to accommodate us and arrange transport to concert.

Night staff after concert in hotel was very rude to a member of our party which kind of spoilt the mood a bit.

It was bitterly cold outside but I should have researched the weather and I don't mind cold and wet, it was just more tricky to get from place to place so I didn't get enough done.

I absolutely loved everything about it! The staff were amazingly friendly and extremely helpful! The Hotel was beautiful on the inside, perfect room size, extremely clean with added Bar/restaurant with no noise pollution to disrupt your stay! Delicious Food offered! Literally a 5-10 minute walk to Dublin 'centre' - mostly St.Stephens Green and Grafton Street but about a 15-20 minute walk to O'Connell Street aswell! Also located right at the top of Rathmines, so wonderful quiet town to browse around in. Beautiful canal right outside the hotel, with plenty of access to public transport to various streets and landmarks. Completely affordable and for the price, it was everything you would have expected and more! I would recommend completely to anyone!

3rd time staying here and still love it. Nice setting beside canal. Convenient to Rathmines village (always buzzing) and city centre.

The staff were excellent and so friendly

The staff on reception desk are extremely helpful. They also help to take care of our child. The food in the downstairs pub is cheap but tasty. In fact It's very convenient to have a pub by the door steps. The heating works really well in the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Shower head is broken in the bath room

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. The staff were very friendly.

The shower could of been stronger and there are no parking facilities.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. It was nice of the hotel to provide tea making facilities in the double rooms. Late checkout of 12pm meant we didnt have to rush out each morning and could have a nice breakfast. The hotel is in a good location with Aldi/Lidl/Subway close by over the canal, which was good for getting breakfast items for those not wanting the hotel meals and are looking to budget. You can also get the bus to city center pretty easy or walk 20/30mins

The windows in the rooms need to be updated double glazing at least to help reduce sound from the outside especially on the lower floors. Also room 209 which we were transferred to at our choosing was in worse condition to our first. The bathroom fan was not working or at least we could not hear it working. The window had to be opened lifted open and only way to keep open was to wedge a piece of wood under it provided by the hotel, this was not the case for the first room. 2 of the lamps had blown bulbs which I think should have been checked before letting us into room. The wall fan in the room didnt seem to work and I think it was there due to the window not working properly. For me these were not such big issues but considering these were small problems I think a little effort from the hotel management to sort these out would benefit the hotel immensely. Especially the windows and fans inside the toilets as even though the fan light was on I could not hear it working in either rooms. The latter didnt even have the light on even though the main red switch outside the bathroom indicated it was on

The hotel lays on excellent position to visit the city by feet. It is not so distant form pubs and city sights, but the area is reasonably quiet. The room was not big but confortable and clean, and the bathroom was big and confortable as well.

Actually, we didn't dislike anything. Maybe, the bed size could be on the small side for somebody.

The hotel is sityated close to Dublin city centre and ina good location.

Rooms are small and a bit pricey, acccomodation all over Dublin is generally bad value anyway, shower could be better as it is fixed to the wall

Location is great for shopping or nightlife, also wry cheap for time of year
