friendly professional staff. high standard of room.the main dining area and bar is most pleasant and welcoming.

the hot water only seemed to work at certain times maybe this should be indicated in the bathroom when the water is heated.we understand it's not economical to have it on day and night.anyway we made do and it was grand

Arrived late at the hotel and was nervous from the moment i entered the reception area. Got the impression I was the only guest in the hotel that night. The heating was off throughout the hotel and my room was heated only by an electric heater. There was no lock on the inside of the bedroom door, so i slept with a chair wedged under the handle. Breakfast in the morning was a choice of cereal and toast or night, with day old papers.

We like it very much. The room was spacious and with nice and cozy design. The bar has balcony with the scenic view to the river. Personnel was friendly and willing to help. Hotel is situated on a bank so from our windows we saw water from one side and grass from the other :)

we went to the docks hotel just for a short break we found the room to be just fine when we got the hot water turned on in the morning. the night we were there , there was no others staying and no others in the bar at night was extreamly quiet,,,and found the staff very polite and helpful..the breakfast was tea and toast , and was just fine for us,i read the other opions of others and was going to cancel , iam glad i didnt but then again dont think i would go friday or saturday ,

lighting around the lifts wasnt great ,,also the lift is excessable to enbody from the bar didnt think that was such a good idea

Terrible, terrible hotel I would not recommend anyone to stay here no matter how good the deal might appear. Terrible hotel with rude, unhelpful staff.

I stayed in the Docks on a Saturday night and the noise from the late bar made it impossible to sleep, also as the lift to the bedrooms is situated just off the dance floor so anyone who was in the bar could get down to the rooms without being noticed. During my stay there was knocking at our door by a woman who was not a guest at the hotel. Approx half an hour later the door to our room opened and 4 women who were members of the travelling community walked into our room. When we confronted the hotel manager she explained she was aware that a key to our room had gone missing during the week!!!!! We left the hotel straight away.

The rooms were spacious and clean and a great location for what we needed - central to the town. Furthermore, there was one staff member in particular who was very helpful.

Although noted on booking, the hotel is also a nightspot within the town with the bar open until 2am - although music playing is understandably, we feel, it did not need to be as loud as it was but with some ear plugs or a heavy sleeper the noise is not too much trouble.

Hotel is very poor, when we arrived the room we had booked had been damaged by young hotel Guest'S. The staff and manager were of no help the hotel breakfast is tea& toast ? nothing else No bed's or towels were changed for the duration of our stay. It is used mainly for it's night club which is very noisy at all times even week days. The food is poor and the hotel is under staffed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone over 21years old. The whole experience was awful and we ended up checking out early. I can honestly say never Again :(

We booked a suite with river views but got a basement room with no view.

the bedroom was huge and very comfortable, very clean, and the attention from the staff was excellent at all times

even though we are a young couple it was extremely noisy on saturday night until about 2.30 in the morning

Topmoderne Ausstattung, sehr gutes Frühstück, wenngleich auch die Auswahl etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig sein kann (Auswahl: Cornflakes/Müsli, Scones, vor allem süsse Teilchen, Konfitüre und Butter, dazu O-Saft und Kaffe oder Tee - kein irisches Frühstück), gute Lage im Ort. Sauberkeit im Zimmer durchaus ok - bei unserer übernachtung war absolut nichts los, also keine Beeinträchtigung durch den Pub/den Club im Erdgeschoss

Obwohl das Gebäude hochwertig modernisiert wurde, merkt man leider, dass das Mobiliar nicht gerade gepflegt wird (Dachterrasse: Stühle teilweise mit Klebeband notdürftig geflickt, teilweise Risse in Glasscheiben - man trägt der Inneneinrichtung nicht gerade Sorge... :-) ). Trotzdem dank Preis, guter Ausstattung, guter Sauberkeit und gutem Frühstück immer eine Empfehlung wert!
