Powerscourt Arms Country House B&B

J'ai apprécié l'accueil et le personnel très chaleureux, le confort de la chambre, le parking privé, la situation entre la mer et les monts Wicklow, l'excellent breakfast et la possibilité de diner dans l'établissement : le repas au lounge était très sympa et la carte du restaurant très alléchante.

Il manquait juste une prise pour sèche-cheveux à proximité du miroir.

Tor loud and very noisy

The staff were very friendly. The General Manager was very welcoming and interested in the hotel's guests and clients. We stayed one night. Our room was a disaster but he looked after us when settling the bill. The food was excellent particularly our evening meal. The Location was beautiful.

We stayed in a double room en-suite. It was a disaster. The heating wasn't working. There was a stand alone heater in the room and that didn't work. It's supposed to be a non-smoking room but you could get a smell of stale cigarettes. The water was cold. The room was "very" tired. We complained. The staff did their best by giving us extra bedding covers. This should not be for them to deal with. The Proprietors of the hotel need to take charge or they will lose a "lot" of custom. It's not acceptable in this day and age.

Location for my meeting was perfect. There is a GREAT bar and Restaurant in the building.

That the door to the bathroom was broken and when we told the staff about it nothing was done about it,they just said that it was broken last week,it should have been fixed before we stayed in the room

It was a lovely quiet village with nice Antique and Book shops. It was right beside Powerscourt House and Gardens, and only a short distance to Bray and Powerscourt Waterfall.The staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant.The food in the bar, restaurant and bistro was excellent, and good value for money.

On our 1st night there was constant noise outside the room from 2:30 am until 6am.The bedroom and bathroom were freezing cold - too cold to have showers in the morning. On the Saturday afternoon it was snowing outside and the heating was turned off until 5pm - it was on a timer and couldn't be changed (according to staff at reception.)

Complimentary coffee was excellent! Friendly staff and good value for money. Nice pub atmosphere and good food.

Nothing I booked with booking.com when I arrived the powers court arms Did not have any rooms for me.as they Did not process the booking.they said they saw the email earlier that day but didn't book me a room .

One staff member arranged another hotel for me as they could not accomadate me. Although it was more exspensive for me.

This was an over night stay on our way further south after leaving Dublin, nice location and easy to find. The girl at the reception was friendly and very helpful.

This is a good value stopover if you are not looking for somewhere plush.Probably an excellent base if you want to hike the Wicklow countryside but not where you'd choose for a romantic weekend. Staff are friendly and efficient (for Wicklow that's a real bonus). Rooms are ok in that there is everything you need and the place is clean.Good choice when compared with nearby Dublin hotels which are going to charge you twice-if not more- the quoted rate.Another plus is that there is good car parking and finally they serve breakfast up until midday- great if you've had a late night-and checkout is at the same time too so you're certainly not rushed

The location is perfect for visiting the Powerscourt House and Gardens. The hotel is perfectly situated in the beautiful village of Enniskerry. The rooms are quite simple but very clean and had everything we needed. Staff was wonderful and very helpful.

Nice cooked breakfast! Only place all 4 of my family could stay in stay in same room.

Very nice host and lovely breakfast. Very large, comfortable room with main house available after closing to wander through as well as extensive gardens. Romantic even for us mature folks!

Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Rooms were clean & spacious, the bathrooms are enormous!

The atmosphere was extremely friendly and welcoming.

Our bedroom only had one bedroom table and lamp. The tv reception was appalling. Having said that, I feel that these are very minor considerations compared to the quality of the welcome we received.

Good location to explore the local countryside from.

It wasn't what I expected at all.

I don't believe I have ever had to write a negative review before, but here it goes. My cousin and I were in Ireland and stayed all over the country, our last nighe we stayed at Powerscourt and discovered it was a bad decision. We booked this room many months ago. But we got a room over a very loud bar! Open a window and you get smoke and the room smelled like cooking grease. We had a flight to leave Ireland early and didn't sleep but a couple of hours as the bar guests were loud until 2 am. I was so disappointed. The bed was comfortable.

Central in the village of enniskerry, close to powerscourt walking distance.breakfast served until 12

Very little. It has a very good location. Enniskerry is a beautiful village but the Country house isnt in keeping.

The bed room was so basic it was pathetic. The booking.com site said wifi was available in all ares of the accomadation. Not so, much to my annoyance as I spend a lot of the evening doing work on the lap top. The bedroom had one hard chair, no table, no tea facilities though you could ask for complimentry tea/coffee at reception. I tend to drink a lot of coffee so felt it intrusive to have to ask. The Tv didnt work and was situated up high which I hate. Did not enjoy the stay at all and wouldnt return.
