It was clean. Friendly manager. Good location
Wasn't what was shown in the pictures. Very small room, just enough space to walk around the bed. Overpriced
I don't understand why this hotel is so inexpensive to stay in! So luxurious and comfortable, with all mod cons of the highest quality. Beautiful decor in the rooms.
I stayed in Prairie House in July. Lovely, beautiful little gem. Admittedly room was small, but as I was on my own, it was enough for my needs. Decor in the room was beautiful and staff really friendly and helpful. I would be staying there again , if I go back to Galway
Clean, friendly and comfortable
No mirror on the wall and no wardrobe. There was no tea or coffee facilities either.
Fantastic Location, friendly staff,WiFi, Clean and Comfortable
No tea coffee in room
I didn't not like anyting about this place. The taxi driver did not know where the hotel was and had to ring owner for directions. We could smell food in the room all night from the vents outside the window from the kitchen. Would not stay here again.
Location was amazing Room was so clean Loved the boutique style decor Staff were lovely
My boyfriend is 6 ft 4 so a bigger bed might have been nice, but thats his fault for being so tall haha
Cute room. Central Salthill location.
Right above the kitchen of the Black Cat - our room was REALLY noisy up til midnight.
We were 2 couples and had 2 different rooms. One giving on the main street and the other on the back of the hotel. Both rooms where so noisy, even with the windows closed, it was like if they were opened! Rooms so small with 2 hand luggage you cannot walk anymore in the room. Bed too small. WAY to expensive for the quality this hotel!
We got a very good deal, room was comfortable but as other comments say it was small with nowhere for storing belongings but when you aren't in the room much it wasn't really a problem for us.
there was nothing not to like - a kettle in the room would have been a nice touch!
Noise from street
The location was easy for the most part Very pretty and comfortable
Hard to find, the directions should have said it was at The Black Cat Restaurant. When they say 4:00 check in, don't try a moment earlier even when you request it in advance. No shampoo or washcloths, more of an FYI than a negative. Wi Fi was a little sketchy.
pretty and cozy furniture, clean and beautiful bathroom, position near the beach/coast.
quite distant from the city (by walking), on a noisy and crowded street, can check-in only after 4 p.m. because there's no one in before that time.
nice winebar underneath,
Within walking distance of the prom at salthill.
We had a room just above the taxi rank which was v noisy late into the night. Bedroom v small n could only get into the bed from one side.
I didn't like that the only parking was In the local public car park. If I had known this I wouldn't have booked this accommodation. Also there was no coffee making facilities, another reason why I will not stay here again as my husband and I enjoy a cuppa before bed. I didn't look for this facilities as all accommodation I have ever stayed in provide it and assumed this place would be no different.
Style. Very nicely decorated
Rooms bit small
Nothing! We didn't stay!
Parking was not available. The area was noisy. The entrance was poorly decorated. I had asked for few stairs as I am disabled and the room was got to by a very steep, winding stair. The room looked ok at first glance then we realised that there was nowhere to put our cases, there were no bedside tables, there was no kettle for tea-making or any other refreshments, the window was hard to open and just looked out onto another building with rubbish in an alley-way, and then we found out that there was no breakfast! So we asked for our money back, and hope that the refund has gone through. How can it be on a 'b and b' site and not give breakfast?
Needed somewhere to stay at short notice, single room, very reasonable, very small but clean and great shower, perfect for what I needed
No wardrobe space in the room I had so would not be suitable for longer stay but I guess that might be specific to the single room.
Very small room but for 1 night not an issue.
Nice bed, friendly staff
Very small room and bathroom/toilet
Lovely room, comfortable bed, freestanding bath a fun feature. Our gentlemen hosts are very welcoming and helpful.
Rooms are small and would be very stuffy in hot weather.
Clean room, good shower and good size bathroom, comfortable bed, location near sea front
Extremely small room- the bed filled it. No good for people with luggage or who need a desk to work! The wifi signal from the bar downstairs did not work at all-residents were all sitting in the bar or on the stairs to log on. No coffee or tea making facilities, nowhere to hang clothes. Very noisy in early morning. No AC or fan so had to leave window open and loud noises from machines and vehicles in the street disrupted our sleep.
Mattress was comfortable
The room was not cleaned at all during a 3 day stay, the bed was not made, bins were not emptied, no fresh towels were left in the room during the 3 day stay, there was a rail on the wall as a wardrobe with no clothes hangers. There was no tea/coffee making facilities. We had to use the toilet roll we found outside the door as it was not replaced. No breakfast facilities available, we understood that “No meal Deal” meant that there was no evening meal. We did not understand that breakfast was not included. When we were checking in a member of staff renegotiated that €18.00 per day would be deducted from the overall price. However, when we were checking out another member of staff outright would not accept that we were made this offer and she threatened to call the Garda. She was very rude and threatening. We find it hard to accept that we were treated so badly on our holidays. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone, I was delighted to go home at the end of our stay. We paid €288 for 2 people for a three day stay at this sort of accommodation.
Good location. Fairly clean.
Tiny room. No breakfast, or any other food for that matter. No tea or coffee making facilities. Tiny room. Cannot check in until 4 pm. No lobby or any public area.
