Comfortable Safe Clean
Had a few issues with water but these were resolved without any problems.
We had no real problems with the apartments or the hotel . WiFi wasn't great in the apartment it self but ok in the hotel ...
Took us ages to find our apartment would recommend if guests have a lot of bags like we had , that there is some assistance with luggage ....
Everything couldnt complain about anything
friendly service, homely atmosphere, obliging staff, very child friendly. have been going there for yrs and np complaints.
uncomfortable pillows and not enough of them. bedroom too warm at night
Very easy access around Galway
The beds were hard as a brick. My mum had to sleep on the sofa and rooms far to warm. I asked for a low floor but I did not get a ground floor. No toaster in the room. Very hard to get shower to work properly.
Leisure facilities good.
Food in bar was very poor and finding your way around the hotel is a pain
I really enjoyed the facilities such as the bar, gym and swimming pool ..
I would of love if ruebens bar had a carvary
Spacious and comfortable. Great parking. Great WiFi. Great gym.
It's so nice to have a kitchen area rather than running out for every meal! The rooms were just right for us (married couple with one grown son along). My son took advantage of the workout room and pool. The location worked well for us (near my daughter's home and convenient to City Centre.)
The bed was too soft for me, leading to some fairly severe back pain. It would be nice to be able to leave the bathroom fan on without also leaving the light on, as the bathroom gets very muggy after a shower.
Loved the hotel, everyone was lovely, especially Cyrill he was great. Highly recommend this place for a group of people looking for stress free accomodation. Lovely bar and swimming pool also.
Our stay at the Connacht could not have been better. It was very busy on arrival though the staff worked through the queue very quickly. The hotel rooms are amazing, we stayed in 2 bed self catering room and they are so well appointed. The lobby bar area is open and welcoming and although very busy it was great to sit in. The breakfast was good value and the restaurant menu was lovely. All in all we had a great stay and are looking forward to returning next year.
I haven't seen a TV like the ones in the bedrooms since I was a boy in 1986 ;)
Great location, brilliant size apartments clean and friendly.
Facilities in kitchen area are limited to fridge and a microwave, not great for making a fry
Rooms were lovely, clean, comfortable and well equipped with good size adjoining suites with a sitting room between the two bedrooms, Plenty of room, well laid out and very quiet.
Bizarre layout, it was a long and complicated walk to the suites from the reception. Spent half an hour one morning helping an elderly lady in her swimwear try to find her room resulting in her having to walk through the hotel lobby. I booked through booking.com expecting to pay the sum quoted when we arrived but apparently this was only a reservation, the prices had gone up by £25 when we arrived- very unfair but not the hotel's doing, misleading info on Booking.com
1-bed apartment was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. Pull out sofa slept 2 kids comfortably. Kitchen facilities in apartment were ideal Location was ideal with bus stop just across the road and down a little Leisure facilities were great Food was really good Good atmosphere in the bar at night
I didn't mind that the apartment was not serviced as we were there for just 4 nights but towels should be changed or guests should have the option have changing towels somewhere On a couple of occasions, bar staff were slow and not catching the eye of people so it took a while to get a drink
The staff were lovely. Food delicious and a great atmosphere in the restaurant/bar. Definitely worth a visit.
The mattresses were a little to soft for my liking but that's my only complaint!
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with two boys aged 2 & 4 and it was very comfortable.
The fact you have to come through the hotel to the apartments (they dont have their own entrance) can be a bit of a pain when you are bringing up loads of stuff but on the plus side you dont have to leave it at all once you have everything inside.
Helpful and pleasant staff
Inadequate kitchen staff and waiters for the number of guests. They need to reduce visitors or increase staff
Staff work really hard and long hours. Always smiling and friendly. Check in, very quick. Liked everything about this hotel. Food lovely.
Ironing board to small but that's only negative.
Great stay and lovely atmosphere
Good kitchen bedrooms seperated by living room
Yard at back busy re cycling bottles
Plenty of parking spaces. Good Leisure facilities. Plenty of space in bedroom and living room.
There was constant noise from outside. There were skips and bins just outside the apartment and people banging about day and night emptying bins and throwing bottles into the skips. Didn't get much sleep!
2 bedroom apartment was spacious. Children delighted to have a very reasonable priced breakfast. lovely pool and staff
wifi very poor. we were aware that sheets would not be changed during our 3 night stay but we did expect bins to be emptied and towels to be changed when we left the sign on the door. The kitchenette needs to have sufficient delph for 5 people and the kettle does not switch off and needs replacing. The tv reception in the kitchenette was poor-sound was muffled and sounded like it needed an aerial.
Staff went extra mile to make sure we were comfortable, were both personal and professional. Hotel was lovely, pool and gym outstanding.Breakfast was partiularily well done.
Room not ready two times. Reception telling lies
