The pool was closed, pc for guests broken, back church graveyard view with no other option, dirty bathroom, and I can keep going....

Stayed here many times b4 and always found it a friendly place,why change to something different

Everything was fine

Friendly welcome, no fuss, room lovely, gym needed some attention, pool area brilliant and breakfast and staff great.

The room was fine but would not like it for more than one night as it only had a high level window. breakfast was quite good. having a gym pool within hotel was very convenient. reflexology treatment was very enjoyable. residents bar open and welcoming after a night on the town.

very difficult to drive into hotel. no lit sign at gate or on corner of street. arrived in dark and heavy rain and had to navigate one way streets delaying arrival in hotel and causing some stress. parking was doubled up in car-park and had to give up trying to remove my car and return later on my day of departure to get my car. Location is ok but tricky to find.

Very good value for money

Use of the gym and pool was a bonus as was the location to the city centre. Great breakfast.

Parking spaces at front of Hotel were very limited and tightly parked.

The hotel was in a good location for the shops and bars. The food was very good, rooms spacious (room 411) and the staff very friendly.

The swimming pool and spa facilities were great! An added bonus. Check in was fast and staff were really polite and helpful. Room was spacious, basic facilities but very clean. Reception area was large with comfortable seating.

Notification about Limited parking should be made clearer. We were lucky enough to get the last space but other guests were disappointed.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The hotel was in a good location for exploring the city.

Due to bedroom doors being fitted with spring shut hinges when inconsiderate guests return to their rooms in the early hours, it was heard by other sleeping guests.

there was only one thin pillow each, a table in the room was broken, we were given 2 small towels for both of us(we did get more on request ), the bar is horrible, not comfortable at all and very noisy, not what you'd expect from a hotel bar.the restaurant is very basic.the pool was being used for swimming classes so we couldn't use it on saturday.however the room was very clean and a reasonable size, it's just not as plush as the photos on the website suggest.we also could have done without the stag party banging and shouting during the night and the sight of a fifty plus year old wandering around in a mankini...although the staff were quick to tell him to cover up.
