The staff were excellent, room rate was not too expensive for Dublin and the food in the restaurant was super and also not expensive - I would definetly stay in this hotel again. I had booked for 1 adult and 2 children but needed to change this to 2 adults and 2 children when I arrived, and it was done with no problems and no extra charge. The staff put another bed in the room, and there was plenty of room for this. I hate paying for parking, but the rate we get was €12 for 24 hours.

Hotel is in a great location both for sightseeing and shopping; just beside the river quays and the new theatre. Very spacious and clean room. All facilities available and in a good condition. Helpful staff providing good service and information when needed. Excellent Irish breakfast. This hotel is value for money, however the price is too high as for the heavy crisis period. The overall note is very good. Bathroom was a bit too small. Both my husband and I would strongly prefer shower than a bathtub - that would bring more space, comfort and much more cleanness outlook as well as a cleanness feeling.

Swimming pool. Balcony, quietness in room 721, Room tv was in an awkward place, difficult to see from the bed. Pillows & mattress should have been softer. Bar staff were slow

Left to wait 45 minutes for a smoking room even after indicating this preference at booking. The staff at this hotel seem to think service is a chore. The barman was very rude when I asked were they still serving alcohol at midnight. Don't stay at this hotel if you want to be treated like a paying guest, if you're into being treated like an inconvenience, be my guest.

We were attending a concert in the Grand canal theatre and the Maldron was the ideal location for the theatre. The Hotel was fine and our room was spacious although a little stuffy and warm when i woke in the middle of the night. The Bar was a little dissapointing as it lacked atmosphere so we walked up the street for a drink after the concert. The breakfast was excellent and overall i enjoyed the stay and would use it again if i was going to the concert hall.

The location and facilities. Very slow check out process with staff clearly not properly trained. When in difficulty management ignored it and didn't lend a hand. Room service needs to improve as the quality of the food was poor.

Near Conference Center. Room was comfortable and very clean. The service desk. My husband and I were staying there for a holiday and my husband stayed on for a business trip at the Conference Center. I asked if we could get the discount that I saw on line for staying additional days and was told no. We then asked them to make reservations at a show we wanted to see and when we arrived was told no reservations had been made. We then told the service desk when we returned and they said nothing, not taking any responsibility. We had the wrong adapter and was told to buy one, all of the other hotels we stayed at lent us one. They were cold and rude, and they are the face of your hotel. First impressions are lasting ones.

Hotels decor is very nice and the rooms are very clean and spacious and very comfortable. Hotel facilites are very good and good location to get into the city centre. There is no car park with the hotel and the staff at reception did not explain how to claim your discounted rate with the nearby q car park. Q car park staff were extremely unhelpful and extremely rude and due to not being explained how the car park operated by the hotel I was over charged for the stay. I did write a letter of complaint to the Maldon and they have pronised to reimburse the additional money I was charged

Liked the hotel , location was not too far from town and the advantage was that it was quiet. Breakfast a bit poor but what they gad was nice. Service at the bar could be improved as to knowledge of drinks and coffees. Friendly staff though.

Location is perfect for anyone going to a show in the Grand Canal theatre. It's located literally across the road! We availed of the pre-theatre meal which was great value & service was very prompt. Receptionist on arrival was a little difficult to understand & not quite sure if she understood everything we said either.

This is my second stay at this hotel. The location is perfect.. about 5/7 min drive to Templebar area and about 9/10 mins drive to O'Connell Street. The staff are extremely helpful . The room was always impeccable with linen and towles being changed everyday. I suggest trying the room service at least once. The food is delicious and the prices very decent. The breakfast is quite varied, however would suggest increasing the variation of fresh fruit. However very good on the whole Not much to complain about.. the only thing which i do not like is the plastic curtain in the shower. Would suggets having the latter changed with glass which is much more hygenic

Location we were going to a show in the grand canal theatre I thought the parking facilities were dreadful.. I had phoned the hotel prior to travelling to book a car park space but I was told this wouldn't be necessary if we were down before 3pm. But when we arrived we had nowhere to park as the park was full. I ound the situation very stressful and hotel staff were not very helpful. It was a worry during the show but eventually got parked thanks to the boys in Q park doing us a favour.

Very busy atmosphere, all staff were very nice and helpful, rooms were lovely, food was lovely! Very close to the o2 but not close enough to city centre which isnt really a bad thing either. I found the choice of food available in the bar poor and the resturant was always booked out.
