Letterkenny Court Hotel

la situation "coeur de ville" dans une ville animée

Le petit déjeuner : l'occupation de l'hotel étant trés variable (groupes importants présents sporadiquement et clientèle affaire). La gestion des priorités a été au depart frustrante (le 1er arrivé n'était pas forcément le 1er servi). Mais bon, un peu d'empathie permet quand on est en vacances de le comprendre et de prendre la chose du bon coté.

Rue bruyante jusqu'à minuit.

La simplicité et la convivialité (discussion avec les employés à la réception, au restaurant). La facilité d'accès. Les petits déjeuners Irlandais à volonté. Le calme durant toutes les nuits.

Le manque de "sympathie" de seulement deux employées (visiblement ne souhaitaient pas parler avec les clients !!!)

Proximité de la ville, l'hotel est situé dans la rue principale de Letterkenny

Beaucoup de bruit dans la rue qui rend la chambre bruyante.

The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

The street cleaners in the morning had us awake very early. It was very noisy.

I liked the friendliness of staff and rooms were lovely and clean and hotel itself is close to all attractions, it was just perfect for weekend away. I wolud have no problem staying there in the future!

I thought 12.50 was a bit much for breakfast and also the fact our room was over the main street, but I realise now what a busy social town Letterkenny is.

Facilities none, especially the adjoining bar which could only be described as grim. This location of his hotel, on the main street in Letterkenny, is totally unsuited to guests looking for a night's sleep asthe noise of music from the surrounding pubs/night club continues until 3am, at which time the people attending such venues pile into the street (which was directly under the window of our room) and continue to party/shout/fight for another hour. They then return to the hotel and party/shout in the corridors (right outside our room). This went on intil 6AM! Then the street cleaning machines were put into operation to clean up the mess left in the street by the revellers. Our stay in this hotel was our worst experience in our 40+ years.

The staff were the most helpful and friendliest we have encountered for years. The rooms were of a good size and had most of the facilities we required.

The pillows were hard and the bed too soft. The soap in the bathroom was difficult to use as it was in a squeezable, hard to squeeze, bottle on the wall.

This was our second time staying and we had a nice break

Only one thing was the heater in our room did not work and it was cold in the evening time. A pleaseant gentleman member of staff came up to try and sort it but was unable to and apologised on behalf of the hotel and said he would make a note in the hotel log for the following day for the next guests

The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance of the bars and clubs. The room was clean and spacious.

The breakfast table was only half set, the fry was served on cold plates and the music playing during breakfast was inappropriate.

the hotel receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. We recieved a free upgrade due to an error in our reservations.

Hotel accommodation & restaurant were fine; staff were friendly and helpful. We will return when in Letterkenny.
